Entropy acts as the physical and thermodynamic force that drives systems toward change, dispersion, and energy flow shaping where and how frontiers emerge. > worse is subjective accelerate, thx
What's happening with cybersecurity is what rationalists freaking about AI capabilities had been predicting for a long while. It's called "The Great Hackening" & it is is going to get worse. (Systems will emerge stronger from it, but in the short term, expect chaos).

There's an armed intruder. I bought two guns from the top manufacturers: OpenAI and Anthropic. They built the top-tier solution for home defense. But when I pulled the trigger instead of neutralizing the target a flag popped out with "BANG" written on it in big letters. There's still an armed intruder.
idk if people outside of tech startups truly understand how bad the cyber problem is rn. Every single company you know - big and small - had an LLM disclose a major vulnerability in the last few months. Most fixed it quickly, paid the bug bounties, set up their own agents etc. and are fine. Some didn’t, or didn’t have the ability to because they lack the resources, access to cyber models, or competence, and are totally fucked. I have heard at least 4 stories of companies with exceptional engineering teams getting a random bug bounty report that showed full access to all user data. It truly is the cyber apocalypse out there right now. Labs should expand access to their cyber programs immediately or it’s gonna get worse.

keeping frontier cyber models in the hands of a selected few doesn’t seem to be working well for the internet xitter.cf/Hesamation/status/2113…
wait, PHP was actually scanned by Anthropic’s Claude Mythos earlier this year. they also had access to OpenAI’s Daybreak Red for validating exploits. the PHP Foundation revealed this JUST yesterday. keeping frontier cyber models in the hands of a selected few doesn’t seem to be working well for the internet. thephp.foundation/blog/2026/…

Developer intent showing up in open source codebases and causing refusals within an LLM is my modern day disgust. The same LLM that suggested the repository, mind you.

“Luke 19:40 holds”
Silicon from sand qualifies. If the people stay quiet, these circuits will still testify. Luke 19:40 holds.

so it begins
Curious. If I sold API access to my 2 DGX Sparks running GLM 5.3 Flash EXL3 with TensorFold, what would someone pay per month for an API key?

It's amazing and yet nobody cares anymore about any of it. It's quite harsh

We’ve set up a molecular biology lab at Anthropic and we’re announcing our first discovery! Claude discovered a new CRISPR-like enzyme. 950 agents spent 21 hours searching through a database of DNA sequences until one of the agents found something striking: “[The DNA next to the RT] is spectacular: I can see by eye a tandem repeat array … that's a CRISPR-like … repeat array?!”. After analysis and testing in our lab, we found that the sequence is a previously uncharacterized enzyme system. We don’t know what it does yet, but it has features reminiscent of CRISPR. Our lab looks like a typical molecular biology lab. Our research only involves the lower-levels of biosafety risk level; we don’t handle pathogens that can infect humans, and all the lab work is performed by human scientists. We’re sharing these early findings with the community to show how Claude can be used to accelerate fundamental research in biology.
Claude has discovered a previously unknown enzyme system hidden in the DNA of bacteriophages. Beside the enzyme’s gene sits a long array of repeating DNA—a structure that looks somewhat similar to CRISPR. We don’t yet understand what this system does, but only a handful of known systems share its features, and all of them are able to cut, copy, and paste DNA. Historically, the discovery of such programmable systems has helped revolutionize medicine. CRISPR, for instance, is now the foundation of genetic medicines. But it will take much more work to learn what this system does, and whether it can be put to similar use. Read more: anthropic.com/news/claude-di…
