I sent this letter to the Editor-in-Chief of Toxicology Reports demanding a full explanation for the removal of a published article examining vaccines and sudden infant death.
Americans have a right to know why scientific papers are removed, who made those decisions, what evidence supported them, and whether the same standards are applied consistently.
We will restore trust in public health by insisting on transparency, accountability, and open scientific inquiry—not by asking the public to accept decisions behind closed doors.

Independent Medical Alliance Response to NY Times Attack on ACIP’s Dr. Kirk Milhoan
FULL STATEMENT: (Washington, DC) — The Independent Medical Alliance (IMA), a national network of independent physicians, healthcare professionals, and medical researchers, today released the following statement from President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Joseph Varon (@joevaron), in response to the @nytimes attack news story on Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) Chairman and IMA Senior Fellow Dr. Kirk Milhoan (@KMilhoanMDPhD).
“The New York Times has published a hit piece on Dr. Milhoan for holding a truly radical position in modern medicine: that patients and doctors should decide medical care together. This apparently now qualifies as extremism.
“The implication from the Times is clear: everyone, everywhere, should get every shot. No nuance. No individual circumstances. No dissent. When it comes to vaccines, diversity of biology, risk, age, sex, and circumstance is dismissed entirely.
“Dr. Milhoan is an accomplished pediatric cardiologist and former U.S. Air Force physician who believes the Constitution protects citizens from government intrusion into personal medical decisions. The Times treats this position as scandalous, as though belief in individual liberty were a rogue ideology rather than the foundation of American law.
“To be clear, Dr. Milhoan is not anti-vaccine. He does not deny the success of the polio or smallpox vaccines. He is not calling for bans, rollbacks, or mass refusals. He is simply saying something far more dangerous to centralized power: that patients should decide, in consultation with their doctors.
“The Times also noted that ‘Milhoan seemed to approach the committee’s work from his perspective as a medical doctor, rather than as a champion of public health.’ That’s exactly how it should be.”

Can Polio Vaccine Cause Injury and Death?
🔹As of January 2, 2026, there have been 24,976 adverse events reported following OPV including 1,067 deaths (nearly 90 percent in children under age six). There have also been 90,449 reports of adverse events associated with IPV containing vaccines including 2,190 deaths. However, the number of vaccine-related injuries and deaths reported to VAERS may not reflect the true number of serious health problems that occur after polio vaccination.
🔹As of December 1, 2025, there have been 531 claims for injuries and deaths following IPV containing vaccines, including 79 deaths and 452 serious injuries. Of that number, the U.S. Court of Claims administering the VICP has compensated 251 children and adults, who have filed claims for polio vaccine associated injury and death.

#NVIC Influenza (Flu) Disease & Vaccine Quick Facts
🔹As of November 28, 2025, there have been 240,218 reports of influenza vaccine reactions, hospitalizations, injuries and deaths following influenza vaccinations made to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), including 2,711 related deaths, 18,504 hospitalizations, and 5,235 related disabilities. Moderate reactions reported include fever, local reactions (pain, redness, swelling at the site of the injection), headache, fatigue, sore throat, nasal congestion, cough, joint and muscle pain, and nausea. Serious vaccine complications include brain inflammation and neurological damage, convulsions, Bell’s palsy, limb paralysis, neuropathy, shock, wheezing/asthma and other breathing problems, and death. Influenza vaccinations can cause Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS), a painful and disabling immune and neurological disorder of the peripheral nervous system that can cause temporary or permanent paralysis and death.
🔹In 2013, the Federal Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (ACCV) voted to add GBS to the Vaccine Injury Table (VIT) within the federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) and it was officially added in 2017. As of December 1, 2025, there have been 11,547 claims filed in the federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) for injuries and deaths following influenza vaccination, including 263 deaths and 11,284 serious injuries.

The battle isn't over yet.
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday delivered a big win for religious exemptions from school-based vaccine mandates — but more work lies ahead to ensure that parents who oppose vaccines on religious grounds can opt out of vaccinating their kids in order to send them to school.
“Clearly the trend is more freedom of religion, not less. More protections for people practicing religion, not less. More invalidation of laws — or holding them unconstitutional — that restrict individuals’ ability to practice their sincerely held religious beliefs.” — Attorney Jonathan Marko

ACIP just voted YES to change the recommendation on the Hep-B vaccine. It is NO LONGER recommended just after birth. The recommendation is now:
“For infants born to HBsAg-negative women: ACIP recommends individual-based decision-making, in consultation with a health care provider, for parents deciding when or if to give the HBV vaccine, including the birth dose.A Parents and health care providers should consider vaccine benefits, vaccine risks, and infection risks. For those not receiving the HBV birth dose, it is suggested that the initial dose is administered no earlier than 2 months of age.”

The language voted on:
“When evaluating the need for a subsequent HBV vaccine dose in children, parents should consult with health care providers to determine if a post-vaccination anti-HBs serology testing should be offered. Serology results should determine whether the established protective anti-HBs titer threshold of ≥10 mlU/mL has been achieved. The cost of this testing should be covered by insurance.”

🚨 CDC QUIETLY REWRITES ITS AUTISM PAGE
After years of insisting that “vaccines do not cause autism,” the CDC has now updated its own website to admit the evidence was never there.
The new language acknowledges:
• Studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.
• Research showing a possible link has been ignored by health authorities.
• Past CDC statements denying any connection were not evidence based and violated the Data Quality Act.
• There are still no studies supporting the claim that the 20 doses of infant vaccines in the first year of life do not cause autism.
• Even the MMR studies cited for years have serious methodological flaws.
ICAN spent years demanding these studies through FOIA requests, lawsuits, and depositions. The response was always the same. The studies do not exist.
Today, CDC is finally starting to correct the record.
Parents deserve the truth. The science must be done.

🚨 BOMBSHELL: CDC NOW ADMITS SCIENCE LACKING BEHIND CLAIM 'VACCINES DO NOT CAUSE AUTISM'
This is the culmination of more than 6 years of work for @icandecide, which sued the CDC in 2020 to remove the unscientific claim from its website. This represents vindication for the 40-70% of Autism Parents in America who have been marginalized because of that unsupported claim.
Now the website admits:
"The claim 'vaccines do not cause autism' is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism."
"Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities."
"Scientific studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines contribute to the development of autism. However, this statement has historically been disseminated by the CDC and other federal health agencies within HHS to prevent vaccine hesitancy."
"Multiple reports from HHS and the National Academy of Sciences ... have consistently concluded that there are still no studies that support the specific claim that the infant vaccines, DTaP, HepB, Hib, IPV, and PCV, do not cause autism and hence the CDC was in violation of the Data Quality Act when it claimed, 'vaccines do not cause autism.' CDC is now correcting the statement, and HHS is providing appropriate funding and support for studies related to infant vaccines and autism."
"Of note, the 2014 Agency for Health Research and Quality review also addressed the HepB vaccine and autism. One cross-sectional study met criteria for reliability; it found a threefold risk of parental report of autism among newborns receiving a HepB vaccine in the first month of life compared to those who did not receive this vaccine or did so after the first month."
"In fact, there are still no studies that support the claim that any of the 20 doses of the seven infant vaccines recommended for American children before the first year of life do not cause autism. These vaccines include DTaP, HepB, Hib, IPV, PCV, rotavirus, and influenza."
As for the MMR vaccine, CDC's website now says: "In 2012, the IOM reviewed the published MMR-autism studies and found that all but four of them had 'serious methodological limitations,' and the IOM gave them no weight. The remaining four studies and a few similar studies published since also have all been criticized for serious methodological flaws. Furthermore, they are all retrospective epidemiological studies which cannot prove causation, fail to account for potential vulnerable subgroups, and fail to account for mechanistic and other evidence linking vaccines with autism."

🚨BREAKING: ICAN’S LEGAL TEAM SECURES RELIGIOUS EXEMPTIONS FOR WEST VIRGINIA SCHOOLCHILDREN IN A “FREE THE FIVE” VICTORY!
ICAN’s legal team secured a critical win back in July against West Virginia’s Board of Education when the court granted a preliminary injunction ensuring the children involved in the lawsuit could attend school without interruption while the case proceeded on the merits.
Now that win is permanent and much more broad: it applies to “All individuals and families in [West Virginia] who have sought, obtained, or will in the future seek an exemption under [West Virginia’s] Equal Protection of Religion Act for vaccination requirements, and whose children have been, are being, or will be denied access to public schools due to the enforcement of the Compulsory Vaccination Law (“CVL”), or who are otherwise subject to Defendants’ policy refusing to recognize exemptions to the CVL.”
