Departure 35 from South Africa.
Was meant to be turning left in Dubai and heading to London then back to Johannesburg. Instead I’m turning right and heading to Sydney.
That’s life hey 🤷
While I fly fancy and make the most of it, I’ll miss my Olivia more than you can imagine.
Haven’t seen my Liv in 7 weeks. According to a good friend she has shot up in height since her birthday party which was the day before my last departure from South Africa.
She might be above my shoulder line now but she’s still getting the same Dad hug like every other time ❤️
Back in my favourite chair with Emirates to start trip 3️⃣5️⃣ to South Africa for school holidays with my Liv, then two weeks in London for work then back for another four weeks in Johannesburg for school dad time before coming home in mid October ✈️🇿🇦

Trip 34 to South Africa comes to a close.
Leaving each time breaks another piece but this time it’s particularly brutal. Traveled over with hope and without armour but leave with the confirmation of the harsh reality of nomadic life.
