"I testify that two people from my constituency and one from Mardan, a total of three individuals whom I personally know, were killed by gunfire during the Islamabad protest. Under the cover of darkness, with the electricity cut off, people were fired upon. And now the government has the audacity to claim that no one died. Then why don't you provide the hospital records and let the doctors speak?" says the former PML-N member and ex-Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The government is now denying firing at protesters or any deaths. They have also taken control of all Islamabad hospitals, imposing strict surveillance and preventing anyone from sharing information. Over 100 PTI supporters remain missing even after 48 hours, feared dead, with families desperately knocking on every door to learn the whereabouts of their loved ones. The scale of this state brutality is unimaginable and yet to be fully revealed as more evidence continues to emerge.

Israeli jets are pummeling Beirut today with a relentless barrage of airstrikes.
The city is in a frenzy, traffic at a standstill, people parking on sidewalks and making a run for it, non-stop ambulance sirens (reminiscent of Sept. 17).
26 announced attacks so far; the majority, if not all, aimed at residential buildings.
