Revised design considered SGR viaduct plus a BRT corridor with longer station platforms at centenary park 2 cater Pedestrian volumes. How I wish all these projects were implemented like yesterday. But we’re busy buying V8’s while shoving people off the roads with sirens.😔😔

Also, doesn't that SGR viaduct mean that the road has to slightly be raised to accomodate its future construction ?

That is the reason why Flyover can’t operate independently. As much as it’s the heart beat, all the other high order roads have to be implemented in order for the benefits to be realized. - Nakasero VVIP exp. - Kibuye-Buseaga exp. - KJE

I have tried to analyse this Phase 2 (around Kitgum road) together with Phase 1 ( the flyover at Clock Tower). Whereas there will be faster movements from the South to the West, there may be pile up on the roads in Kibuli, and the roundabouts where the landing platforms are.

What travel times did u get? I see u included capacity. 👌🏻👌🏻 U can actually do entire loop: Kla Northern Bypass-Nakerseo Exp-K’la Flyover-Kibuye-Busega-mpigi Exp. Also since construction & opening years changed, the junction saturation would be an interesting thing to look at.

tried to do a visualisation of a car moving along the entire corridor from Phase 1 (the flyover at Clock Tower, through the Nsambya underpass and Mukwano road) to Phase 2 around Kitgum House to the roundabout near Africana. @piuseml28 how did I do?

At Alere S. S. in Adjumani, as part of the Health club, there are boys that are doing a great job promoting menstrual knowledge and awareness against harmful cultural practices such as child marriage. I promised the boys that, to show my appreciation for their work, I will draw them and credit them publicly (make them famous) - to inspire more to such constructive work. The first I am sharing is Solomon Kuch. Share until it reaches him in the refugee camp in Adjumani.

The plan to decongest the City is on as Kampala Flyover Project Lot 2 progresses to the most crucial phase. Works expected to commence before end of next year. Interesting life for the citizens loading!!
