i barely see anyone on my timeline talking about @PixieChess so let's change that this is not your usual web3 game pixie chess takes traditional chess and mixes it with collectible pieces that have unique magical abilities, meaning your strategy can change depending on what you bring to the board but the game itself is only half the story • new pieces drop daily through auctions, with packs also available • ranked matches let you climb the ELO ladder • daily tournaments offer ETH prizes, alongside 4 player brawls and larger competitions • pieces can be traded , collected or burned to enter certain tournaments • money spent on pieces helps fund the tournament prize pool through the Vault yes entering some competitions means permanently sacrificing a piece, win or lose. that adds an actual cost to competing and removes pieces from circulation the project also raised $5.2M in seed funding led by Paradigm with Seed Club and angel investors among the backers and they're already building beyond season 1 the current season ends november 10 with season exclusive pieces , a new collection and gameplay improvements planned around season 2 I've played 733 rated matches, reached a peak of 1640 ELO and stacked 112.4K season points so i'm not just passing by to farm a mention. i'm actually playing the game figured it was time to put pixie chess on more people's radar ( this is not a paid partnership )
