S2 is about to be legendary the DeanAllie and Gracelogan plate
Antonio Cipriano on the show reordering the books and how he sees it as a positive thing via EliteDaily
“We knew at the audition this was how the format was going to go, because of Dean and Allie’s moment in Episode 6,” Cipriano says, referring to Season 1’s episode dedicated to Dean and Allie’s clandestine hookups. “And it just makes sense, because Allie is Hannah’s close friend, so you already care about her. I don’t think you could’ve done that with Grace and Logan since it’s a different setup.”
“It’s a good thing, I think,” he says. “Getting to watch Belmont [Cameli] and Ella [Bright] really start this momentum and then Stephen [Kalyn] and Mika [Abdalla] stepping up in Season 2, they’re so brilliant at what they’re doing and it inspired me a lot. I feel like I’m now officially ready to take that leading role. It took two seasons for me to get here and feel this way, but now I’m ready to lock in.”
Oh they abt to be mad af
Rachel Reid, author of Heated Rivalry, mentioned her support for Off Campus & Elle Kennedy in a recent interview with Bustle
“I’m really happy for Elle Kennedy. I was really excited to see that her books were all over the New York Times bestsellers when the show came out because I was worried people would compare it directly to Heated Rivalry — I don’t think that they’re super comparable beyond the obvious of hockey and romance. I was worried people would be dismissive of it because it came second, even though, out of the gates, that was the much bigger IP and the much bigger show. I’m really happy that people really seemed to love it and embrace it, and that now there are Heated Rivalry x Off Campus raves happening.”
