If 🏴 Gerwyn Price wins the title this weekend, he will provisionally be ranked higher than 🏴 Luke Humphries going into the World Championships
This would open up the possibility of a Luke v. Luke Semi-Final at Ally Pally

Ka Ying Rising will need binoculars to see the Godolphin runner at the furlong pole.

Fantastic start to HuntFamilyFund.com 120 mile walk to Bournmouth. Thank you all so much for incredible support xx
What an inspirational man John is.
I wish him and his family all the best with their walk and encourage everyone to look into supporting the fund.
I don't agree with the 'bad decision' tag for this one @ItsRossBrierley
The horse was 14/1 in a 15-runner race so the selection didn't inherently contradict your lottery theory, which is obviously an over-simplification as otherwise you would be having tons of bets on 5f sprints - on all the outsiders (I strategy I like myself).
More importantly, it is important not to refer back to macro-logic as an explanation for a micro-outcome/result. You bet Partisan Hero in spite of your pre-existing belief that 5f races are overly high variance. If he had won, the opposite effect may have manifested - you'd have fresh confidence in betting 5f races. That is outcome bias, which is unhelpful.
Substack debut, mostly because writing helps me clarify my own thoughts.

Fillet steak at the acclaimed FX Buckley in Dublin.
Solid fuel ahead of an evening in Leopardstown 🐎 but I will reserve an official rating for when I find time to enjoy one of the showpiece cuts.
Hearts getting drilled 3-0 by ‘Sturm Graz’
Surely now firms will push out the ridiculous 26/27 title price to double figures.
Huge drift on Scottie to win The Open after his missed cut in Scotland.
The best player in the world takes a hit to his pride and in turn gets two extra days to prepare for a major championship, the one he won last year and appears generally underrated at.
9.6. I am on 🔨
I must have backed a winner.
1̶,̶0̶0̶1̶ 0 days since Tom Kim's last win! 🏆🏴
The 24-year-old is victorious at @ScottishOpen!
A second chance given to Pasture, a joint that underwhelmed me first time out but has shown its class today.
The taste of the meat doesn’t compare to the better spots in London but I’m now happy to call this the best steakhouse in Bristol.
7.5/10.
