As much as I liked the people on Twitter, this platform has changed for the worse (mainly because of its new owner and policies).
That's why I'm leaving 𝕏 with a heavy heart.
Let's keep in touch on LinkedIn (David Streit) and Instagram (@podcasthacks).

Make your marketing about the transformative experiences and achievements of your listeners. This way it becomes much more than just a showcase of content.
4️⃣ Engage with experiential content: Encourage interactive sessions, like Q&As or community challenges, inspired by your podcast topics. “Join our monthly challenge, inspired by our latest episode, and share your journey towards mastering new skills.”
3️⃣ Build a community around achievements: Foster a community where listeners can share successes and learn from each other, all inspired by your podcast. "Be part of our vibrant community where every member's success story starts with 'I was listening to this podcast when...’”
2️⃣ Create relatable content: Develop episodes that focus on challenges and aspirations common to your listeners. “Dive into stories of resilience, where ordinary people make extraordinary leaps, all sparked by a simple podcast episode.”
1️⃣ Highlight listener transformations: Instead of just talking about your podcast's topics or guest lineup, share stories of how your podcast has transformed your listeners' lives. For example, "Hear how Jane leveraged insights from our podcast to double her business's revenue!"
Stop solely sharing snippets like “new episode out”. That's not enticing.
What you can do to embrace an engaging narrative around your show:
Traditionally, marketing often focuses on a product's features, what it does, its specifications, etc. However, this approach can sometimes fail to resonate deeply with potential customers because it doesn't necessarily speak to their aspirations.
The same is true for podcasts.
Transform your podcast from a marketing tool to a source of inspiration. Here’s how.
