Including males in sport for females destroys sport for females! Why doesn’t this matter? 51% of the world (females) get less than 5% of all the cash in sport, & less than 4% of prime time coverage in media, yet still mediocre men are allowed to steal our prizes!

@RosieDuffield1 said: “This bill sounds as though it seeks to outlaw the vile practice of conversion therapy, something that’s already illegal.
“However, a confused child who may want to explore their thoughts on gender, needs adult support, guidance and advice before reaching any lifelong decisions at an age recognisably well-below adult cognitive maturity.”
“This is normal, and as children are not adults, serious parental or professional advice must never be made illegal.”

One Labour MP “It’s crackers and is quickly turning into a complete fiasco.”
Another back-bench Labour MP said: “We know there’s a long history of gay men and lesbians being bullied and worse just because of the way that they are...
But “bundling in gender identity” was not the solution.

@gstringermp said he would vote against the bill
“It’s a completely inappropriate thing for the state to be doing.”
“I will listen to the debate. From what I know now, I will vote against it. It seems like a huge intrusion into family life. It seems to be an attack on parents.”
“The consequences of breaching the proposals in the bill are ridiculously punitive”

@GlindonMary “The expert evidence has been clear: the drafting of this bill could result in parents, faith leaders, teachers and counsellors being unfairly restricted or even punished for raising concerns or questions about a young person’s decision to ‘transition’.”
“This would undermine important findings from the Cass Report, which recommends taking a ‘cautious approach’ in light of various unknown consequences and potential harms of interventions like puberty blockers or chest binders”.

@steveyemm said: “I support banning abusive and coercive conversion practices, but we must ensure that parents, teachers and clinicians can have open and honest conversations with young people questioning their gender, without fear of criminalisation.”
“Biological sex matters, and legitimate gender-critical beliefs must remain protected. I welcome the parliamentary scrutiny of the draft bill and hope it will address these concerns.”
“I remain sceptical but I have an open mind and would be willing to support legislation that protects people from genuine abuse while safeguarding freedom of belief and appropriate clinical care.”

Baroness @HayteratLords said “Whilst no-one supports any mental or physical abuse on a child or young person exploring their sexuality, a bill which could criminalise parents, siblings, therapists or churches for normal discussions and guidance would be dangerous and undesirable.
“There may never be an actual prosecution, but the threat of that or even reporting to the police would have a chilling effect on the most ordinary or loving conversations.”

@ToniaAntoniazzi said the draconian legislation would have a chilling effect on parents who wanted to give children loving advice.
“I would urge the Prime Minister to step in and scrap this bill.”
“If parents are criminalised and families divided, it is mothers who will be affected.”

Last month @PreetKGillMP told The Telegraph that she had “serious concerns”.
“As the Cass Review advised, parents and guardians must have freedom to take a cautious approach when navigating sensitive topics with their children. The evidence shows that devices such as chest-binders or puberty blockers can cause long-term bodily damage”.
“But by criminalising words that amount to ‘economic’ and ‘emotional pressure’, the bill could undermine this advice from Cass, and ensnare parents who simply want to properly examine the risks involved with early ‘transition’, and where appropriate, advise against rushing into the use of such serious interventions.”.
“It would be wrong if a bill created to protect vulnerable people would overreach into potentially causing unnecessary censorship of important and loving conversations within families.”

Preet Gill MP is absolutely right, you cannot have Cass compliant exploratory therapy alongside the draconian threat of prosecution from the conversion bill. She is courageously pointing out the obvious and fellow Labour MPs should listen

When I met Jolyon Maugham a few years ago I asked him what he had against LGB Alliance. He told me that it was because we could not possibly have held conferences at the QEII centre without men organising and funding us. When I tried to discuss this with him further he physically turned his back to me and told me that he refused to engage any further. He silenced me.
Then he took a case to the Charity Commission to have LGB Alliance struck off the register. He wanted to silence us.
Now he is saying he wishes to support women who have been "abused into silence". Are you planning to reimburse our supporters with the £250k your vexatious court case cost us Jolyon?
Let's flip the fear Jolyon - and get you in the dock for terrorising so many women over the years and abusing the law so to do.

The parkrun misogynists really don't like this photo of the "female man" who is recorded as first female finisher at around 100 parkrun events. Can't imagine why they're so upset about a photo of him. Funny bunch.

There needs to be a Crowdfunder for Szilvia Berki.
She was silenced and bankrupted by a rich and powerful rapist.
In 2014, a woman accused Russell Brand of assault. A court then banned her from ever talking about it, even to the police. She had no lawyer; there was no proper trial.

Proponents of trans ideology vehemently opposed any and every sort of research conducted in this field because then they will no longer be able to throw around the lies and slogans they have used to bully, threaten, and coerce others to force their will into policy for so long.
In its never-ending quest to target, bully, provoke violence against, and eliminate trans people, the regime is now funding a study to try to show that trans people are somehow more violent than other people. It’s absolutely vile and shows yet again that DOJ is a broken agency more focused on targeting people than actually upholding the rule of law.
Trans people are horrifically targeted with violence. They’re profoundly more likely to be victimized than to victimize.
We must stand up for trans people — their civil rights, their ability to lead full lives, their basic humanity — and this will be a priority for me in Congress.

So @goodlawproject is going to start suing itself?
I imagine @SVPhillimore would like to have a word about the greatest self-own I have ever seen.
Powerful men use the law to intimidate women they’ve abused into silence.
But it’s time to flip the fear. Help us to fund cases that turn the tables on these men, empower women to speak out – and get justice:

The logical extension of this claim is that these people also win the right to have their unfalsifiable identity codified into human rights law (see: gender identity) and then begin punishing/fining/cancelling anyone who expresses their disbelief in public.
This is a real article.
