Preset system experiments.
How about retopo in two clicks?
Okay, maybe in three, hehe.

i use plasticity a lot to blockout stuff and this worked pretty well with my workflow and even works as a better guide for zremesh, took less than 2 min to do that btw
Finally managed to make a small demo of HC.

If you brave enough, you can grab latest public alpha: github.com/polozad/hardcraft…

Improved region split system for CAD retopo.
Alpha build is almost here, yeah.

...and STEP import with select-similar and smart fill for cylinders.
STEP works better than any bridge for now.
Built-in retopo + unified field-driven fill.
Combining parametric and manual editing is hard - but here we are.

And another one.
Conformal quad-fill (LSCM unwrap > Delaunay) with relax and density controls.

Trying some black python ai magic. If there is no hardsurface retopo tool, you need to do it yourself, hehe.
Hey @JoeWilsonEQ1, noticed unexpected (for me at least) behavior in raytracer: backdrop brightness affects image contrast even with linear tone mapping. Do we have autoexposure?

@marmosetco + @getPlasticity as usual

@marmosetco bevel shader, @getPlasticity mesh, yep.
Yet another @getPlasticity to @marmosetco quick cad+bevel shader renders.
