#Israel: A 3rd journalist has had their entry visa denied in the run-up to the legislative elections. @eldiarioes reporter Francesca Cicardi had already secured press accreditation and was given no justification for the refusal. As restrictions grow, RSF is concerned that the authorities are rejecting international reporters' visa applications based on the editorial stance of the media outlets they represent.
#Israel: RSF condemns the Israeli authorities' decision to deny an entry visa to Sylvain Mercadier, a journalist for the French daily @humanite_fr, without providing any reason. With Serena Bilanceri, a correspondent for the German newspaper @tazgezwitscher, also recently denied access to Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, RSF is alarmed by the growing restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities on the international press.
