Everyone's obsessed with [this well-established and useful metric]. No one's talking about [this new metric I've just made up].
The most-cited benchmark for how many posts a blog needs to be competitive comes from data collected in 2009 and 2010.
Does the old SEO playbook survive AI search?

📢🇧🇷🇲🇽 Google is bringing ads in AI Mode to Brazil and Mexico
Google is now running ads in AI Mode in 10 more countries, including India, Canada and Nigeria. Brazil, Mexico and the UK come next, planned for Q4 2026, with no launch dates yet.
Google announced it on Alphabet's Q3 earnings call on Oct 28. Search revenue grew 12% year over year, down from 17% in Q2 and 19% in Q1. Alphabet shares fell 8% after the results.
Google says sponsored product listings in AI Mode already get click-through rates similar to organic ones.

An AI model says yes to everything. And an unlimited yes produces an average: something that works more or less the same for everyone, because it wasn't built for anyone in particular.

Clay coined the title "GTM engineer" and sells the tool most associated with the role. The job is, basically, "Clay user."
That doesn't make it a fad. A GTM engineer scales what already works. If your positioning still doesn't work, hire for that first.

Chris Dixon: "the label matters less now." The firm keeps investing in crypto.
One of crypto's biggest investors is dropping the word "crypto." Wall Street is doing the same: using the rails as a showcase, not a home.

Nubank linked to potential Brubank acquisition in Argentina (iProUP via André Santos). Inter and BTG Pactual are also reportedly exploring a deal.
Brubank has a full BCRA licence and ~5m customers. A deal would give an immediate local licence, customer base and infrastructure — faster than organic entry. Inter has denied talks; nothing confirmed.
Nubank pulled back from Argentina in 2019 after conditions “changed completely” (David Vélez). It scaled in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, launched in the US, and already serves Argentina via Nu Global. Vélez has recently called the market “more attractive every day” amid deregulation, but still prefers to build from scratch.
An acquisition would mean integration challenges (customers, tech, culture). Revolut took a similar (much smaller) licence-buy route, securing BCRA approval in Sept 2026 for Banco Cetelem (launch targeted 2027). Mercado Pago is advancing an organic licence (expected by end-2026); Cocos already has one via Banco Voii.
Reports are unconfirmed and follow earlier 2025 rumours that went nowhere. But it's clear that Argentina is back on Nubank’s map.
¡ES VIERNES OTRA VEZ!
