Excellent analysis and examples Cameron. I take exception to the public servant statement below.
#PS's take criticism for abuse. How often do we see highly paid bureaucrats front Estimates & take Q's on Notice? They would be well aware of reasons for their appearance.

7. This trend towards anger & hate will continue, & quite possibly get worse, for as long as our economy serves the few rather than the many
This is the national conversation we need
Urgently
Rather than blame social media
Which is but an outlet for underlying frustration

It seems increasingly apparent that our elected representatives are serving interests other than the people who voted for them

3. IOW the vitriol is a function of, an expression of, the underlying stresses in our social & economic system
One example 👇
In a wealthy country like 🇦🇺, we have one third of households facing food insecurity
1. @FoodbankAus has released its 2026 Hunger Report
33% of homes experienced food insecurity in the last year

I feel more people should be discussing Pauline Hanson suing over a satirical song about her back in 1997 and 2003.
@PPantsdown (Simon Hunt) released a song, 'I'm A Backdoor Man' that arranged Hanson soundbites to have her saying . . . 'I'm very proud that I'm not natural. I'm a backdoor man for the Ku Klux Klan' and 'I'm a very caring potato', among other words of wisdom.
Interestingly, Hanson's so-called support of satire escaped her and through her lawyers, she lodged defamation proceedings in the QLD courts, arguing the satire was injurious and defamatory and the lyrics and audio imputations falsely portrayed her as:
• a homosexual, a transvestite/man, or a prostitute
• engaging in unnatural sexual practices or pedophilia
• associating with the Ku Klux Klan
• being a subhuman or a "caring potato"
(please try to read that with a straight face)
The proceedings resulted in the granting of an injunction in Pauline Hanson's favour restraining the continued publication of the satirical material.
After remaining legally dormant for roughly five years, Hanson reactivated the existing defamation case in the Supreme Court of Queensland in mid-2003. Legal analysts and media noted that Hanson revived the lawsuit specifically around the same time she was facing high-profile criminal charges and prison time for electoral fraud.
Anywhoo, it seems Pauline Hanson and her team of bald men are very happy to cruelly and sadistically mock others, especially women with disabilities, but when it comes to mocking Pauline, that so-called sense of humour suddenly vaporises.

The most untrustworthy PM in the history of Australia - it's @AlboMP !
It’s the little lies that betray the man.
Can we trust him on the big decisions, like allowing US bases to be built here, or the decision to go to war against a nuclear power?

Last week I was asked if we could take 2 golden retrievers who had been surrendered. As soon as I saw the video of them looking frail, broken and unwell I agreed. 2 very kind ladies fought for their freedom and drove the dogs to meet our team today.
The story is complicated and I won’t go into it here. What I can share is that a third sibling died. Although these 2 dogs look ok at first glance there are so many problems. Their fluffiness is covering some very malnourished and unhealthy dogs. Despite that their tails won’t stop wagging.
The ladies who saved them named them Bonnie and Clyde. The perfect names for 2 dogs on the run from their past and hoping to start a new life with us.
There are a lot more questions than answers right now for these 2. What I do know is that we will try our very best to save them, build them back up and make better lives for them. Bonnie and Clyde have had some early treatments and are sleeping beside each other in the hospital.
Let’s see what we can do 🤞❤️
