When I was about relocating, my uncle called me and told me something I’ll never forget, with tears in his eyes, he told me, look at our village, every successful family in this town has one or two people abroad, thank you for taking this decision in our family , you’ll journey
Woe betides whoever scouts Fofana for Chelsea. Conceded the penalty that got the score 1-1 & lose the penalty that got us outta the tie.
A friend thousands of miles away called me earlier today to explain some concept to him in our profession, after explanation, his remarks caught me aback, I don’t know whether he’s praising me or abusing me;
“Oremi, ori e ti wa yi si idi Supply chain yi oo 😌😇”
Some statements in Yoruba has a way of serving different purposes
I have a company’s phone but I switch off the data as soon as it’s 5:00pm, I don’t use the phone for anything except between 9-5pm: Monday-Friday

Welldone Francis, no negative thought whatsoever.
Let's clear the air on the post I made some days ago.
I think context matters, and sometimes, people can interpret the same statement differently.
I said, "Till today, I still always feel like First Class starts from 4.8+." I wasn't setting a standard or saying it should start there.
It was my personal opinion, not a rule. I wasn't trying to make anyone with a CGPA below 4.8 feel less of themselves, neither was I trying to bully anyone because I have a perfect 5.0 CGPA. I was simply expressing how my mindset is wired.
The painful part is that people who weren't even on X got to hear about it because of the negative way it was interpreted. Now, there's an extra effort needed to help people maintain a positive mindset.
My point is simple: no matter your CGPA or achievements, don't think less of yourself. Keep a positive mindset and believe in what you can become.👌
Anyways, life continues 😊

Happy birthday to my High school senior @Oye28 - “Senior Bukky”- Thank you for your influence in my life when it matters most sir.

I love the EU work life balance, NGL & I’m gonna miss it the day I decide to exit the system, once you know you’re coming to work the next day, your PC is in your locker, if anyone likes he should ping you 5:01 pm, you’re on your way home and PC is at the office, that task will wait till the next day.
Did you share this under duress?
I remember the day I tried to cheat in an exam. 😭😭
I wrote something on a small sheet of paper and hid it inside my pant waistband.
Immediately I entered the exam hall, I tried to bring it out, and that was how they caught me. 😭😭😂
They told me to carry the paper and walk straight to the invigilators in front of the exam hall.
Meanwhile, they were announcing that they had caught a CHEATER. 😭😭😭
The shame of walking from my seat to where the invigilators were sitting was so much that I almost entered the ground. 😭😭💔
They collected my matric number and created a group for all of us who were caught cheating. They told us to come for a meeting.
Omo, it was at that meeting that I knew my village people had finally caught up with me. 😭😭😂
They would ask each person:
“Why did you cheat?”
“Do you think it was the school’s fault, or you didn’t read well?”
GUYS, THEY GAVE US MICROPHONES! 😭😭😭
They would call your name with a microphone, and you would use another microphone to announce to EVERYONE why you cheated. 😭😭😭💔
Imagine using a microphone to explain your academic crimes in public. 😭😂
