#facebook #thesocialreckoning I saw the film The Social Reckoning. A good expose on a number of things. 1. How one can be brilliant yet disconnected to humanity (Zuckerberg). 2. How lying and manipulating has been normalized (Zuckerberg/Trump) 3. How easy it is to be manipulated. Facebook can be positive but it's currently running on manipulating our addiction to crisis and the negative.

#SPIRITUAL #TrumpIsARussianAsset #GOP #DNC Sometimes say that all this is like a circus. "Welcome to the big top. Whatever you want - from the heinous to the sublime - it's all right here!" This is a difficult time - perhaps the most difficult in American History. Lets not forget the sublime :) A BLANKET, RUNNING WATER, A FRIEND, A PET, NATURE. All of our ugly is currently being exposed. I hope we improve it. But while doing the work I hope we all remember the beautiful.

#poetry #poetrycommunity #TrumpCrimeFamily I wrote this poem to my mothers painting I named Mrs Huffington. It would also work if you substituded Donald Trump don't you think??

#TrumpCrimeFamily #Republicans It's deeply sad to see how many men & women are willing to work for ICE. But it shouldn' surprise us. This type of humanistic numbness penetrates everywhere. Psychiatrist Douglas Kelly was assigned to be with Herman Goring during the trials at Nuremberg after WWII. One of his conclusions was that the madness that penetrated Germany COULD HAPPEN ANYWHERE. America has thought of itself as immune. We are not immune. But. we can learn from this.

#poetry #poetrycommunity It's my birthday and OPTIMISM is todays poem. Hopefully appropriate for this time. I want to feel that despite this time when we have a president who is very ill and dangerous, that we oppose with deep passion and try to process the anger that's a natural by-product when you see people being hurt.

If you are struggling w/ the current insanity of Trump and the Republican Party PLEASE watch this. It will cheer you up. youtube.com/watch?v=dITxyRDs…
