Golf was a game Papa truly loved. It was his happy time, where he connected with so many people over a round of golf. I vividly remember accompanying him to golf courses and listening to his wonderful stories.

Today, in the presence of my friend and cricket legend Kapil Dev, we announced this championship, which reflects our shared passion for sport and our commitment to supporting the growth of professional golf in India.

With five new CBM blocks awarded to @essaroilandgas, we are strengthening our presence across India’s natural gas sector and advancing our commitment to the development of domestic energy resources.
.@essaroilandgas, Essar Group's upstream business, has been awarded five new CBM blocks across West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. The contracts were signed in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister @PetroleumMin Shri @HardeepSPuri ji.
The new blocks add ~1,281 sq. km. of acreage, with estimated gas-in-place resources of 6.6 TCF.
One of India’s leading CBM producers, #EssarOilandGas currently accounts for nearly 50% of India’s production and aims to contribute 5% of the country’s natural gas production by progressively developing its portfolio and unlocking additional domestic gas resources.

At the White House today, President Donald J. Trump announced Essar-backed Mesabi Metallics' $18 billion investment to create a fully integrated American steel company, in the presence of Ravi Ruia, Vice Chairman & Founder, Essar Group, and Rewant Ruia, Chairman, Mesabi Metallics.
The largest single investment in a steel complex in U.S. history, the project will connect Mesabi Metallics' iron ore mine in Minnesota with a new steel complex in Iowa, creating a 100% American steel supply chain, from mine to mill.

Marking a significant milestone for one of America’s most important new mining projects, the occasion brought together US EXIM Chairman John Jovanovic and his team, Ravi Ruia, Vice Chairman & Founder, Essar Group, Rewant Ruia, Chairman, Mesabi Metallics, and Joe Broking, President & CEO, Mesabi Metallics, at the site in Minnesota’s Iron Range.
With more than $2.5 billion invested by Essar, Mesabi Metallics is set to produce up to 7 million tonnes of high-grade DR-grade iron ore pellets annually, strengthening America’s domestic iron ore supply and supporting the next generation of steelmaking.
