If you ever board a keke and they suddenly say they are no longer going your way, check your belongings well before coming down.
I'll mostly be offline for now, only logged in on my laptop 🥹🥹

Don’t get carried away by fake smiles, laughter and fake care. Someone might be smiling at you, laughing with you and acting like they care while secretly ensuring you never get ahead in life.
Not everyone who smiles with you wishes you well. Be wise and observe quietly 🙏💯
If you don’t tell them on the first day, it means one thing: you plan on letting that person believe the child is your niece or nephew💀💀💀
Many girls on this app have children staying with their parents in the village who call them “Aunty.” instead of " Mommy. They plan to remarry as single ladies, not as mothers.

People who grew up in the internet age asked how our parents survived without internet.
But the question is gradually shifting to: How did we survive without AI?

i appreciate you are free to have your choices... but if you are in Nigeria, I'll only just remind you and ladies here...
Abortion for social reasons is NOT LEGAL yet. It is important to state, except you are abroad...
Additionally, same sex relationship is still illegal in Nigeria and still attracts 14 years.
It's an advice though... you can take it or disregard...
Remember, not everyone is your friend... a hater might want to stir up trouble one day.

Before you tell the family that a scholarship covers everything, put the offer letter and a blank sheet of paper side by side.
Write down what the university will pay directly, what it will pay into your account, and what you will still have to pay. Those are different amounts.
Here is a made-up example.
An offer covers $18,000 in tuition and provides a $12,000 living allowance for twelve months. The total package is worth $30,000. The amount available for rent, food and the rest of life is $12,000.
Suppose your own estimates come to $700 a month for accommodation and $450 for food, transport and other recurring expenses. That is $1,150 a month, or $13,800 over the year. You already have a $1,800 gap.
Now add $2,000 in one-off travel and settling expenses. The gap becomes $3,800 before any other uncovered charge. These are teaching numbers, not estimates for a particular city. Your actual offer and actual costs must replace them.
There is another calculation.
When does the money arrive?
If the first payment comes at the end of the first month, you may need to pay travel costs and survive that month before receiving it. An offer can provide enough money over a year and still leave you with a difficult first few weeks. A refundable housing deposit also needs cash upfront, even though it may eventually come back.
Read the dates with the same attention you give the amount.
Cornell's published funding guidance illustrates why.
It describes different payment arrangements for fellowship and assistantship stipends, and says summer support is offered by some programmes. That is a reason to ask about your own award's arrangements, not to assume that every university works like Cornell.
Also check the period covered. Nine months of support cannot be stretched into a promise of twelve. Funding for year one does not tell you the conditions for year two. Ask what academic progress, teaching or research duties are attached, and which costs remain yours. If the language is unclear, get the programme's explanation in writing.
For a family planning to help, the useful conversation is specific: the amount still needed, the date it is needed, and whether that support is actually available. Money someone hopes to find later belongs in the uncertain column.
You can celebrate an offer and still ask these questions. The letter is the starting point. A usable plan shows how you will get there, meet the first bills and remain there while you study.
