A woman has carried an Apple Card for 4 years. No annual fee. Titanium card in her wallet. She loves how clean the app looks and how it tells her exactly where her money goes. She uses it at the grocery store, at restaurants, at gas stations, and for Amazon orders. She taps the physical card because "it's easier than pulling out my phone." Every month she earns a few dollars of Daily Cash, and she's never thought about it again. Last month she told her coworker: "Apple Card is fine, but the rewards are kind of meh. It's just 1% back on everything." Her coworker, a former fintech product manager who spent years working on card rewards programs, set down her coffee and said: "You're earning 1% because you're paying with the physical card. That's the lowest rate it has. The titanium card earns 1%. Apple Pay earns 2%. Certain merchants earn 3% when you pay with Apple Pay. You've been leaving up to two thirds of your rewards on the table for 4 years, and the difference is just which way you tap. You've never sent your Daily Cash to the Savings account, so it just sits there earning nothing. You've never used Monthly Installments for Apple purchases at 0% interest. You've never looked at the payment tab that shows what interest would cost you before you carry a balance. You've never set up Apple Card Family. You've never turned on the spending summaries. You've never used the virtual card number for online shopping. You think it's a basic card. It's one of the most feature-rich cards in your wallet, and you've been using it with the sound off." She opened Wallet on her iPhone and spent 20 minutes changing 10 things. Her next month of Daily Cash was more than double the previous one, with the exact same spending. "I didn't need a new card. I needed to stop tapping the titanium one." Here's every Apple Card feature most owners never use 🧵

PHP runs roughly three out of every four websites on the internet. WordPress. WooCommerce. Laravel apps. Small business sites. Online stores. Most of them haven’t installed a single PHP security update this year. A security engineer who’s audited over 400 PHP sites told me: “In 2026 alone, PHP patched an SQL injection, a memory corruption bug, a credential leak, and a flaw that can crash a server with one request. I still find sites running versions that stopped getting fixes last year. The owners have no idea.” 8 security fixes. 1 deadline. 10 minutes to check your site. Here’s every PHP security issue you need to check before your site becomes the example 🧵👇

You use Claude every day. You open claude.ai. You type a question. You get an answer. You start a new conversation. You type another question. You’ve been doing this for months — maybe longer. Every conversation starts from zero. Every conversation requires you to re-explain your job, your context, and your preferences. You use Claude the same way you’d use Google search, read, leave. You’ve never created a Project with persistent files and custom instructions. You’ve never published an Artifact a live, shareable document, dashboard, or app. You’ve never asked Claude to build you a presentation in Slides and export it as a PowerPoint. You’ve never connected Gmail, Google Drive, or Slack so Claude can read your actual data. You’ve never set a Scheduled Task so Claude works while you sleep. You’ve never used Claude in Chrome to act inside your browser. You’ve never used Computer Use to let Claude control your desktop. And you’ve never turned on Memory so Claude remembers who you are across every conversation. A product manager who’s been using Claude for 14 months and has configured every feature Anthropic has shipped told her team something during a workflow review that made 6 people reconfigure their Claude accounts that afternoon. “You’re all using Claude as a chatbot. You type, it answers, you leave. Claude stopped being a chatbot 12 months ago. It’s a workspace now. It builds documents you can export to Word. It builds presentations you can export to PowerPoint. It designs mockups you can export to PDF. It connects to your Gmail and reads your actual emails. It connects to Google Drive and edits your actual documents. It browses the web through your Chrome browser with your logins. It controls your computer screen clicking, typing, navigating apps. It runs tasks on a schedule while you’re away. It remembers everything you’ve told it. And last week it started building live dashboards and animated explainers. You’ve been typing questions into the most capable AI workspace ever built and reading the answers like it’s a search engine.” She showed them 11 Claude features that transform it from “I ask and it answers” into a persistent, connected, creative AI system. Here’s every hidden Claude feature most users miss 🧵

10. Know what's coming, and where Apple Card fits In January 2026, Apple and JPMorgan Chase announced that Chase will become the new issuer of Apple Card, replacing Goldman Sachs. The transition is expected to take roughly 24 months, and Apple says users can keep using the card as normal. Your balances, credit limit, payment history, and Daily Cash balance are set to carry over. Details on the Savings account and any new physical cards are expected closer to the transition, so watch for emails and updates from Apple. Also, be realistic about where Apple Card fits. It has no annual fee and great design, but it's not the best card for every category. Many people pair it with a card that earns more on groceries, dining, or travel, and use Apple Card for Apple Pay purchases and the 3% merchants.

That's it. 10 changes. The woman in this story didn't switch cards. She didn't spend more. She didn't change what she bought. She just stopped tapping the titanium card, opened Savings, and started using the features already in her Wallet. Most Apple Card owners aren't getting bad rewards. They're getting the lowest tier by habit.

Elon Musk admits he got carried away working with Donald Trump and stayed in politics for too long. MUSK: "I think I had it going on for too long. A lot of people might disagree with me. I think it was important to elect President Trump to sort of steer things more in the direction of a free market economy, have less bureaucracy ideally. In my sort of simple political platform of wanting safe cities, secure borders, aspirationally sensible spending, you know, the basics, I thought Trump would be better than Kamala basically. But what I should have done, I think, was be more in the background. It was interesting to sort of go around with President Trump and go on Marine One and Air Force One and all that sort of stuff." ISAACSON: "But was that too seductive in a way?" MUSK: "It was a little bit. It was kind of cool because I'm just there in the Oval Office while all these big momentous decisions are being made and sometimes having some impact on what's being done. But I think I should have been more in the background and probably only had it last for a month or two because at that point you've seen most of what there is to see within a month or two." ISAACSON: "You seem to get a bit too intoxicated by it in a way with the chainsaws and all that." MUSK: "I think that's true. I got carried away basically. I ended up leaving I guess sometime in May." ISAACSON: "That was a weird weekend." MUSK: "Yeah, it was." Walter Isaacson: "Tell me about it." MUSK: "No, let's not dig up the... let's let sleeping dogs lie or whatever. Let's not put a spade down in the backyard type of thing. You never know what you're going to find. But anyway, the point is I should have gone back and focused on AI a little sooner than I did."
