People who say "I think The Beatles/The Godfather/Sopranos etc is over rated" have to be weak in the head. Attention seeking dopes said that about them at the time too but now the jury is IN. So shut up now eh? How about Beethoven? Or Picasso? Shakespeare?

Olivia Harrison says her late husband George Harrison had a habit of giving away his most prized possessions. One example was his Oscar. “He gave his Oscar away to Michael Palin. He scratched Michael’s name on it and said, ‘Here, why don’t you have it? You really deserve this.’ Michael returned it after George died.” He gave away other iconic items, too. “He gave his Beatle boots to Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats, and the big fuzzy coat from the Let It Be rooftop performance to a nanny who was cold.” Conan O’Brien joked about how to get in on it. “We needed to hang around George when he was giving stuff away. Pretend you’re gardening.” Then he asked Olivia if she’d ever tried to stop him from giving something away. Her answer was simple: “Yes.”

Just started Alice Cooper's autobiography. Already I can tell its going to be excellent. This is NOT going to be the usual "wild men live crazy" rock & roll read.

1983. On the right, the council flats that were once beside Tower Bridge, Bermondsey. The man in silhouette is my dad. The Mayor Of London's offices now dominate this uber- high end area.

This one's spectacular. In the 1960s, London's Mews were still being used to keep horses. This clip spoils us with a lovely glimpse of the people, pubs, and lifestyle among the cobbled backstreets that have since become expensive housing. They certainly had more personality then than nowadays. @Britains___Pubs

So City are to be relegated to the Championship as punishment? Talk about patronising. What are we twenty odd places below, Devil's fucking Island? We don't want them. Moping about like they're in an open prison. Fuck em off to non-league.
