The 4% initiative is actually a good thing because it feels like a reward to us punters. At least it gives us the motivation to analyse games, knowing that come Thursday, we’ll get something back as a reward.
Shout-out to whoever came up with the 4% initiative. I genuinely hope you keep it forever. But please, fix your bookie and bring back the great markets that made us love your platform in the first place.
For now, I honestly wish all the big punters on Twitter could stay away from Betway for a while, just so you can realise that your bookie is not bigger than the people who keep it running.
We’ve been in an abusive relationship with you for far too long. Punters can barely win big odds with their communities anymore because you keep removing the very markets that make those wins possible. Every time punters find value in certain markets, those markets seem to disappear.

And to the punters with 10K+ followers on Twitter, maybe it’s time you guys played a part in this. What if we all came together and boycotted Betway for at least a month? Let’s stand our ground and show these bookies that punters have a voice too.
Otherwise, every other bookie will eventually start pulling the same stunts whenever punters begin winning consistently. We cannot keep accepting everything these companies throw at us.
We need to remind these bookies that we have options. We can always take our money and move to another platform.
At the end of the day, without punters, there is no bookie. Betway needs to understand that.
I’ve lost interest in @Betway_za. Their markets are so shitty now. The only thing keeping that bookie alive is that 4%.
We can’t even bet on over 7.5 corners anymore, first-half over 3.5 corners, first-half over 0.5 goals, second-half over 0.5 goals, shots per game, and many other markets.
I genuinely wonder what went wrong. Who made that bold decision and said, “Screw the punters! They’ll keep betting with us anyway because we’ve got them hooked with that 4%”?
I can’t even begin to imagine what goes on in those meetings when they make such decisions. Aren’t they scared of losing customers? Do they genuinely believe punters will just accept anything?
Anyway, thanks to @Betway_za for providing a good platform in previous seasons. But this current season? Your platform is absolutely shitty.
It feels like you hate seeing punters win. Every time there’s a market that gives punters a decent chance, you act corny and remove it. Instead of improving the betting experience, you’re making it worse.
At this point, it’s hard not to feel like you’re deliberately making things difficult for punters. You’ve taken away so many good markets that made your platform worth using in the first place.
