Have read the book, partly for my studies and research and partly for my respect to @profmikedavis whom I have known for many years but didn't have a chance to take his course while I was studying my master's degree in Law and Public Affairs back in 2004-2006 (he took up several visiting professorships in the US at that time). Highly recommend this book. Reading the book is like reading the recent history of the civil society of my hometown Hong Kong.

@profmikedavis says #Article23 offences such as 'collusion with external forces' will impact academics working with overseas #thinktanks & broad 'theft of state secrets' will affect #Chinastudies in #Hongkong & elsewhere.
