Dr. Jung once told me that any man who comes into your consulting room will either be 21 or 45 years of age no matter his chronological age because his problems will be that he can't get into life or can't get out of life. Those are the only 2 problems a man ever has.~RA Johnson
"The coping mechanism disappeared. The thing he was coping with didn’t."
Addictions are EFFECTS we think we can "treat" by circumventing the mental/emotional/spiritual CAUSES of said addictions.
Ozempic took away Johann Hari’s oldest comfort.
He lost the weight. His back pain vanished. He looked better than he had in years.
And he felt worse.
He says he’d never actually felt full in his life. Only stuffed. Eating until he physically couldn’t fit another bite, but never that quiet signal of “okay, you’ve had enough.”
Then one day he got his old go-to order, a bucket of fried chicken. One drumstick in, he realized that if he forced down more, he’d throw up.
That’s the part nobody puts in the ads. These drugs slow down how fast your stomach empties. Overeat, especially greasy food, and you can end up nauseous or vomiting.
But the chicken was never the point.
Since he was a kid, stuffing himself was how he calmed down. Ozempic shut that off overnight. The coping mechanism disappeared. The thing he was coping with didn’t.
Millions of people are about to run into the same wall. When food stops working as a painkiller, something else rushes in. Drinking. Scrolling. Shopping. Or finally facing what was underneath.
The weight was never the real problem. It was the bandage.

Bars!
Anything you put above God is an idol and that’s exactly what a belief in scarcity is.
Replying to @shagbark_hick
frugality is the same as the love of money, money become an idol.
It consumed me too.
What are your gifts and how God want you to use them?
Nutritionally:
B12, copper, iron
Physically:
All 3 stored in the liver (issue: bile sludge) & absorbed in gut (issue: microbiome imbalance)
Mentally:
Ppl ASSUME this is normal so as a man thinketh…
Spiritually:
Warring with yourself keeps you in a state of stress & dis-ease
Yo by 30 I’m noticing males are growing grey hairs now. Not normal. What’s in the water or the foods? Lack of vitamins?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Gray hairs commonly start appearing in men by their mid-30s as a normal genetic part of aging, not unusual or mainly from water/food/vitamins.

At just 7 YEARS OLD, K2 was flying an airplane and confidently communicating with AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL!
I’ve always believed that one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is EXPOSURE. They can’t dream about opportunities they don’t even know exist!
A special thank you to his flight instructor, Marlos Davis, for the incredible teaching, patience, and guidance he’s been giving K2!
Expose your children to the world. You never know what they’ll discover they’re capable of!
Most don't realize how much more younger generations are staying married and being active in their children's lives.
The factoid that '50% of marriages end in divorce' was kinda true decades ago.
But the divorce rate peaked in 1980.
Now, less than 40% of all marriages since 2000 end in divorce.
For college graduates, it's under 30%.
For college graduates who get married after age 25, and who don't have any kids before marriage, it's under 20%.
Anybody promoting the outdated, deceptive 50% rate has some kind of anti-marriage or anti-natalist agenda.
It scares young people away from getting married and having kids. That is their goal.

Most of us fail in the most important moments in life.
Inexperience, shock, denial, desperation, empathy - you name it, there are countless reasons why we do not and can not meet a
moment.
The pain of the failure never decreases when the wisdom arrives to see it clearly.
JL Collins was 24 when his dad sat on the edge of his hospital bed and told him, "I'm going to die tonight." How he answered is the biggest regret of his life.
