Here’s a breakdown of nobody discussing anything important about a scientific revelation by a tech bro… Point no 1 - We will not prove ourselves right, please use your time & recourses to prove us wrong. Anyway we will not accept when proved wrong. Point no 2 - Give me Bharat Ratna & Nobel Prize as I’ve put 2/3 of my money behind my idea. Who even does that? Point no 3 - I’ll buy science if needed. I’ve money. Lots of money. 4. Our Employees are in on the Pyramid Scheme. Just like the guys who work at a scam call center are in on the scam. 5. If others can take 10 to 12years then we will at-least take 8 t0 10 years until then SHUT UP. 6. We have “our science”. Our science will find our claims to be correct. 7. I’m confident so that’s a great start for me & that is all that matters. 8. We will share more feature & call them ground breaking with our fraudcasters & other paid PR. PS - I haven’t responded to any scientific or medical concerns but FU I’m RICH & very confident.

Revisiting my tweets from 6m ago is funny, because I don’t run into any of these problems now at all. What was missing in my setup 6 months ago was the verification process I now use. 70% of my daily token spend goes into verifying patches, and only ~20-30% into creating them.
Might be anecdotal, but just this week multiple AI generated PRs with subtle bugs got merged that required several additional days and a lot of manual verification to fix. “Velocity” isn’t going up when you consider how much effort was spent fixing things post-merge, pre-deploy.

In a high trust team, the only need for PRs is when you don’t know enough about an area and yet have to make a change for what you are doing to work - so you get an opinion from an expert. Apart from this, PRs are engineering management theatre.

I don’t recommend this approach. Many of the elite engineers I’ve ever met put everything into their daily work cuz they on purpose chose a role/company/challenge they are truly passionate about & put a lot of extra effort into the company This is a lazy way to judge autonomy.
From a startup founder: “it’s now a red flag for me if I don’t see side projects on someone’s resume / application, because it signals lack of autonomy. Because it’s now so trivial to build anything on the side, vs before.”

Using AI well requires going meta: instead of solving a problem, design a system that solves the problem. Using AI *really* well requires going meta-meta: build a system that continuously improves itself. Using AI on God mode requires building a system that watches you and builds automations so that you're never doing what an AI is able to do better. If this sounds dystopian, sorry to break it to you but you're still stuck in a pre-AI mindset. Whether you like it or not, the world has changed. So instead of operating how-things-used-to-be, operate in the reimagine-everything mode as your bandwidth gets free from the mundane.

This reminded me of a legendary essay: "Programming as Theory Building". pages.cs.wisc.edu/~remzi/Nau…
Somewhere in your company, there is probably a service running in production that nobody has actually read. It handles real traffic. One person vibe-coded it, watched it pass a few manual checks, and shipped it. That person is the only one who has any "feel" for how it behaves. Now imagine they leave. What happens when something goes wrong... Most of the reasoning, checks, and flows existed in some Claude session that nobody saved, and in the head of someone who is now gone. To be fair, this is not a new problem. We all kind of have been in similar situations earlier as well, but what changes with vibe-coding is how fast you can create one, and how thin the understanding is even for the author. "I wrote it, so I know it" is weaker when you did not really write it. Here are some ways of fixing it that I am trying out - - Review, rather than understand, generated code like any other code. If nobody on the team can explain it, it should not go to production. - The language and infra should be familiar; do not pick a language just because you could - Keep the intent somewhere durable. A short note on what the service is for and why the non-obvious decisions were made is enough - best place: code comments. - Make sure at least two people can operate and debug every production service. Move fast, yes. Use LLM to write and ship, yes. Just make sure you + 1 understand what you shipped. Hope this helps.

Genuine question. New Delhi - Patna Sampoorn Karnti express, no fancy name, just a simple superfast train takes 13hrs for 1000km. Why can't normal superfast train run on Bengaluru Mumbai route 1200km in 16hrs that a new Vande Bharat Train is needed at almost double fare to cover same distance in 16hr? Are we providing public service or purely doing business under fancy names?
The wait is almost over! 🚆🔥 Bengaluru–Mumbai #VandeBharat_Sleeper train is ready for its inaugural run!🚆🔥

I’m in love with this sentence: “The degree to which a person can grow is directly proportional to the amount of truth they can accept about themselves without running away.”

If this is what has employees at Proton in revolt, they're in for a rough ride as the age of agents unfold. There is nothing scandalous in this memo. It's hilarious that 404 is treating it as such.

. @IndianExpress Nice hit-job, but you forgot to mention basic facts in your own article: 1. Surat Diamond Bourse is NOT a govt project. Not 1 rupee taxpayer money. It's built by 4,200 diamond traders themselves putting Rs 3,200 cr of THEIR money. All 4,700 offices are SOLD OUT. Empty!= unsold. 2. Why 300/4700 operational? Same reason Bharat Diamond Bourse Mumbai took 20 YEARS to become full. Traders bought offices as investment + for future. Shifting a $80 BILLION industry from Mahidharpura (where they've been for 50 years) to Khajod, 15km away, doesn't happen overnight. 3. Global diamond industry is in its worst crisis since 2008. De Beers cut prices, lab-grown diamonds crashed natural diamond by 60%, Russia-Ukraine sanctions, China demand down 50%, now US 25% tariff. Mumbai Bourse is also down 40%. Surat is not empty because of Modi, it's empty because diamond market is down globally. 4. Your own article says - SDB chairman Govind Dholakia (BJP MP) himself is shifting after Diwali, Dy CM Harsh Sanghavi said 1,500 offices to open in next 1 year. First India-UK FTA consignment worth $10 million went from SDB in July, Dubai's Stargems did Rs 500 cr auction. Calling it "Modi's guarantee failed" for a PRIVATE building during global diamond recession is like calling Wankhede empty during off-season. A sincere advice to you; Do journalism, not activism!!
Three years ago, PM Modi inaugurated the 3,200-crore Surat Diamond Bourse, calling it “the best diamond in the world” and an example of “Modi’s guarantee” for Surat. Today, the “world’s biggest office space in a single project” is a largely empty shell. indianexpress.com/article/ex…

If you just read on this this week, let it be this blog by Ant and Theorem Labs. Traditional software testing can not capture system behaviour for each an every scenario that formal verification can. Quote: "Claude also discovered bugs that had eluded detection for years, despite trillions of test runs. As model capabilities continue to improve, we expect formal verification to become an essential part of secure software development."
New on our Frontier Red Team blog: using Claude to formally verify software at large scale. Formal verification can prove that code is free of certain bugs, but historically it has only been feasible for small codebases (or required a lot of expert time). With AI models, however, this is beginning to change. In collaboration with @theoremlabs, we used Claude to prove security properties in over one hundred real-world open-source libraries over the span of a few weeks. Predicting consequential events based on present scenarios and actions is one thing. But how does this dude even predict the actions of a random person?
Greta. London. This deep state is very predictable.

Make this make sense.
If all 13,00,00,000 disenfranchised voters hit the street then no government, no police, no army can save this government or Gyanesh Like the Sri Lankan PM they will have to take helicopter and ask others countries for asylum. The options of countries are Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Afganistan, Sr Lanka and Bangladesh. Helicopter won't go far. From delhi to Sri Lanka also it won't reach without stopping.

We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi. India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances. The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India. In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity. @MEAIndia @IndianDiplomacy @PMOIndia @DrSJaishankar @abagchimea
