I see all these trainers in CO posting videos on SM showing “their athletes” going thru technical mazes in their “elite” Programs yet I turn on any “elite” youth game and few, if any, are creating space on the ball with any type of purpose or consistency. Be careful who you spend your time with. Do your research.

If these CO “elite” trainers spent the same time creating and executing developmental programming as they do on their marketing, videos, and AI slides, then we would be in a much better place at the youth level. You don’t need another “private trainer” or “new Program”. Your Process requires progressive, consistent impact in an honest and transparent environment that holds you accountable. 💚 Do your research. Nothing happens by accident (Good or Bad). 😀

Another day watching youth, “elite” ⚽️ and I think we as parents and athletes are missing one very critical component to the youth developmental process. It’s WHAT you do and HOW you do it that will create sustainable progression and impact. Not WHO or WHAT League you do it with. 💚 There are very clear reasons why there is, generally, no control, consistency, and urgency (both individually and collectively) on these youth, “elite” fields in CO at the moment. All 3 of which you will be held accountable for at some point. 💯🫶🏼

If “elite” environments are so ELITE (and allegedly have been for over 10 years), then why do “elite” Directors and Parents keep trying to relentlessly recruit into their “elite” environments? 🤔 Trust your instincts. There is a better way. PSD Youth Select. 💚

Youth ⚽️ Athletes: Working hard in a drill and COMPETING in a drill are two entirely different behaviors. Coaches with merit can immediately differentiate the two. One is a standard and the other is a separable trait that requires tenacity, sacrifice, and resolution. 💚

Show me a Parent who values a proper training environment over games and I’ll show you a Parent who gets it and a youth athlete who is on a legitimate pathway to impact. After watching this weekend’s ECNL, GA, and ECRL games, there are A LOT of youth female athletes who need more training and less games. 😃

It wasn’t “the system” that caused you to underachieve, it was your ego. 💀 I guess I’m trying to lose followers today. 😝

Youth Sports are funny. The individuals and groups you give the most to are (generally) the ones that end up becoming the most ungrateful. Like the old adage suggests, “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone”. 😃

Youth Athletes & Parents: Access now allows you to watch most local ECNL games as well as THE MAJORITY of DI, DII, and DIII games. There is no better way to understand how a team or program plays, what they potentially need, and how your play/impact may fit than to watch them. CONSISTENTLY. Do your research. If looked at honestly, then a lot of “elite youth teams” may surprise you. A lot of “dream schools” may surprise you as well. #themoreyouknow

It continues to shock me how so many youth players are so concerned about WHERE they play, but take little to no responsibility with HOW they play. It is no coincidence that the process feels untenable at the end. Need Assistance?! Just Ask. I talk and guide FOR FREE. 💚 😂

There is NOTHING more gratifying than speaking with a Parent who genuinely listens, respectfully disagrees, and considers/acknowledges/uses your expertise, proven impact, and experience to ultimately decide what’s best for their child. Better than any win or title I could ever imagine. In a time where that doesn’t happen much anymore, I am grateful when it occurs. 💚

Am I crazy for thinking it’s borderline egregious that these CO youth soccer organizations are guising behind “Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day” and asking for even MORE 💰 after already charging outlandish registration fees?? Where is the 💰 going?! Rather than come up with another meaningless structure, US Soccer should mandate that EVERY registered youth club in 🇺🇸 undergo an financial and operational audit. 😀 #coyouthsportsgivingday

Something that has always made me chuckle 🤭. If that ECNL team is “so great”, if that Coach is “so good”, and if that pathway “is the best”, then why are these “elite teams and programs” constantly recruiting for more players? #sportsconundrum

PLEASE, no disrespect to anyone I train or who follows this account. But if looking for developmental or recruiting impact, then there is a large percentage of people in CO wasting their time and money at the moment. 🤷‍♂️ 😬 #firstweekendofECNL #someoneneedstosayitoutloud
