I like how Morrison is completely energy agnostic. He is open to any energy source the gas lobby recommends.

On the eve of the Eden-Monaro by-election, Morrison would be really angry if this photo started circulating again to remind the wonderful voters of this neglected community what the Prime Minister was doing while Australia burned #EdenMonaroVotes
Morrison’s media team have asked for this image to be removed from the internet. They will be very unhappy if you tweet it. You know what to do...

Cuts to the #abc by Morrison's government are deliberate and devastating. But with so many of us relying on the ABC every day, we can build a movement to stop the cuts. Join over a 100,000 others and sign the petition to save our ABC! @GetUp getup.to/Nonq9Vcd3XS1pghA

The fact that a global pandemic will only cut carbon emissions by single digits illustrates how “people focus way, way too much on personal footprints, and whether they fly or not, without really dealing w the structural [sources]" as @ClimateOfGavin says grist.org/climate/the-world-…

This is the worst form of politics ....you should be ashamed of yourself. These people have been neglected for months until their circumstances fitted your agenda. Disgracefully obvious.

As I only contribute about 0.000000053% to the population of Australia, there's really no point in me downloading this #covidsafe app. Isn't that the logic we use in this country? #auspol

A former Australian Liberal Party Prime Minister was forced to sign an anti-climate change treaty with the 15-seat National Party as their price for loyalty, and his price of office. If so, nothing will change until this is dealt with at the ballot box by all. #auspol

The best way to tell the story of climate change is to tell the truth, always and no matter what. The truth is alarming, and scientists should not hesitate to communicate that alarm. To do otherwise is to hide the truth.

I remember Malcolm Turnbull, as Shadow communications minister, passionately defending the Murdoch press during Labor’s ill-judged attempt to rein it in. I interviewed him myself. Maybe his claims he wasn’t “owned” are not quite true, or his complaints now over-egged.

Temperatures exceeded 5°C above average (relative to the 1951-1980 climate baseline) across a massive area of Eurasia during the first three months of 2020. Incredible! 🔥 [Data information: data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/f…]

This is gold.
In this time of fake news & lying leaders, finally there’s a cure for Rampant Dumbfuckery . Thank you George Clooney.
I'm sadly not surprised at all by this fact - but I am shocked that I'd never heard it before. This is why we need system-wide change, people. Individual actions are woefully insufficient to fix the problem. (short thread) h/t @meehancrist Source: nytimes.com/2020/03/27/opini…

Does "two people" constitute a gathering? How many people are needed to form a group? Am I overthinking it?
Our toilet is less than 4 square metres so does that mean no one is allowed in there?
