最初はキック始動・二本サスの3型までがいいかな～とか思っていたんだけど、実車を見たら細マッチョで筋肉質なフォルムの４型が良くなってコッチを選びました。
アルミスイングアームにワイドなラジアルタイヤとか当時のカスタムの手法でしたしね。
クラシカルではないシングル・スポーツで、ひとり人気を博したヤマハSRX400/600。その好調さに気をよくして思いきり斬新に進化させた2型は、ファンのココロにまるで響かなかった。シングルスポーツの難しさを象徴したバイクといえる！
