Station 2 personnel continue their fuels reduction work around our Sierra College fire station in an effort to help reduce the communities fire threat. Crews have been working to remove non native brush like Scotch Broom, limping up the tree branches and removing ladder fuels.

Mostly junk trees... Norway maple, Manitoba maple and buckthorn... no great loss. What you really need to push for is that they be replaced with native trees like sugar maple, oaks and black cherry.
