The USA should invade the USA and win the hearts and minds of the population by building roads, bridges and putting locals to work.
El-Sayed: I have never been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I never will be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I'm interested in serving the United States, I'm interested in swearing an oath to the constitution that every senator has sworn an oath to.
If the question about my faith is the issue, which Mike Rogers wants it to be, I think it is sad and beneath him, and frankly beneath the President of the United States to make that an issue because under our constitution you're guaranteed the right to pray as you choose to pray

Elon Musk is spending nearly $450 million to influence our elections. One billionaire. Nearly half a billion dollars.
Our democracy belongs to the American people, not the highest bidder.
If we don’t get big money out of politics, we risk losing our democracy altogether.

Mark Zuckerberg’s threat to leave CA if voters approve a 5% billionaire wealth tax was a bluff.
He’s not alone. Since Prop 40 was filed, CA gained 32 billionaires & billionaires in CA got $381 billion richer.
Yes. It’s time for a billionaire wealth tax. It starts in California.

They’re not even hiding their plans to interfere in the midterms. We must be too big to rig.

We skipped off work in the afternoon today to see Nathan Fielder’s new documentary, You Can See Everything. Three hours flies by and I was thoroughly rapt the whole time. Fielder has hit a new level with this one.

Merrill College students know their rights as journalists.
"Cat Murphy is a master's student at the University of Maryland, credentialed as a reporter for our Capital News Service and doing the job we teach our students to do. Cat recorded openly in a public space alongside other news outlets, and that is her legal right," Dean Rafael Lorente (@DeanLorente) said. "I'm proud of how she handled herself in a difficult situation."

Important allyship
Former Saturday Night Live host Dan Levy has called out Shane Gillis over remarks he made about women during his SNL opening monologue this past weekend.
Levy specifically took issue with a portion of Gillis' monologue in which the comedian described going to the gym and observing that "women just dress like whores now."
Responding in an Instagram Reel, Levy said: "Women wearing short shorts at the gym does not make them whores. It makes the men calling them whores misogynists. There's a difference there. By the way, I've seen more men's nipples at the gym than I've ever seen women showing their bodies off."
"But I'm speechless that something like that can exist on live national television. And to be perfectly honest, more men need to be standing up in opposition to it because it's complacency that has created the environment in which women are sexually assaulted and it's a 'conversation' as opposed to a 'crime.'"
"This is not a women's issue, this is an everybody issue. Because the more that men objectify women in the media, the more that other men see them as objects and treat them as objects. They are not objects. They are superior human beings to men, OK? And I'm sorry if this gets me in trouble with the internet, but fuck."

Are we going to talk about Elon putting his hand on the scales of our midterms with this blatant misinformation?

There’s something potent about Ossoff’s slow cadence. He allows each word to land. Takes control of the conversation with a deliberate command of the tempo. In a world where everyone rushes, he takes his time. To Collins, it must feel like an eternity to get owned that slowly.

One day we will look back on this period in American history not just in severe embarrassment but with complete incomprehension. How did this happen? How did Idiocracy become real life in the richest, and one of the most educated, societies in human history?
