BREAKING: New York has passed #Prop1!
New Yorkers used their vote to permanently protect abortion statewide, and showed up for LGBTQ, immigrant, and disabled New Yorkers by approving the most progressive and comprehensive state Equal Rights Amendment in the country.

I don’t think it wasn’t a coincidence that Anya killed herself 4 months after the crash. It usually takes 16-20 weeks for a baby bump to start showing. About 4-5 months.
There was no denying the reality of her situation. She couldn’t protect herself. No one would protect her.
against Jimmy.
AND ANOTHER TANGENT —
(I have mouthwashing brainworms)
Curly paid very heavily for his inaction by experiencing exactly what Anya went through. Having Jimmy violate his autonomy and inflict pain upon him. Having no voice (literally) parallels Anya too.
Swansea’s plan was to save the last cryopod for Daisuke bc he believed him to be too good and innocent to die like this.
It wasn’t until Daisuke died due to Jimmy’s manipulation of his goodness and innocence did he decide to act against Jimmy.
Swansea also failed Anya
#mouthwashing spoilers
There’s a lot of discussion about Curly’s inaction when Anya tells him about Jimmy sa’ing her — but I don’t see much about how Swansea also failed her.
(First of all I love Swansea and his flaws make him a better character.)
In that scene, Jimmy accuses Swansea of “telling Anya who knows what.”
Jimmy replies: “Hah! I sure did talk to Anya. But it was her telling me all sorts of things instead, wasn’t it?”
I believe the implication of this scene was that Anya finally told Swansea about Jimmy.
