My favorite NFTs from the memeplex.

Hopefully they have a better idea for crypto than just BTC.
Like $XI

isnt their a long standing connection with the paypal mafia and crypto, even rumors they made bitcoin?
Cc @punk6529
something very fishy is happening in crypto right now.
elon musk just quote tweeted crypto twice.
once to pump it. once to bury it.
12pm: NYSE's owner partners with hyperliquid's biggest builder to bring perps to the US
1pm: billionaire stan druckenmiller makes his first tweet ever. it's about hyperliquid.
4pm: elon quotes him. "interesting"
HYPE +20%. knocking on ATH.
then
7pm: polymarket gets drained
9pm: binance gets drained
up to $5.9B gone. biggest hack in history if confirmed. almost 4x bybit.
withdrawals paused. $1.4B liquidated. BTC under $79k. monero +6%.
11pm: elon quotes it. "everyday is zeroday"
7 hours between the two.
and just like that, nobody's talking about hyperliquid anymore. binance's biggest competitor, gone from the timeline.
all 19 days after the 10/10 anniversary, when $19B got liquidated in a single day.
coincidence?
Is it finally over for us

Connected wallets have started dumping Tether so I think it can be strongly assumed to be malicious at this point

HI EVERYONE!
over the next few weeks I will begin to slowly unveil one of my most ambitious projects to date, to release in mid November.
.collaborators/events for this to come.

"Why does nobody run for the school board?"
"Why are the Rotary clubs empty?"
"Why does every town meeting feel like it's run by the same motley assortment of terrible people?"
Because the men who ought be doing so--the successful local men of prominence, typically businessmen and lawyers--came to the conclusion in the mid-20th century that participation in and leadership of civic life was someone else's job.
This is the desire of the so-called conservative to simply "work" rather than do all the other things that keep entropy at bay and ensure things function. Their doing so left open the field to the worst among us: spiteful malcontents
It wasn't always like this.
The planters of the Virginia gentry served as vestryman, justice, militia officer and burgess, usually before he turned thirty and usually for no pay, other than perhaps having some travel expenses covered as a burgess.
It was expected of him, and he expected it of himself: as a man whose success made him privileged, he was duty-bound to be the one to show up and lead
That habit can come back. It ought come back. It starts with showing up to the boring meeting, and being the sort of man to whom others listen. The sort of man whose reputation for success and competence, and cultivated but not overdone and always aesthetically pleasing look makes others want to follow him
This is what the great men we look back to did, and is indeed what their whole soceity was geared toward producing: great men who were great leaders at every level of civic life, from the humblest station at the bottom to the greatest at the top
Re-engaging in that way will be critical if we are to retake our country.

Did you know that NASA has landed a probe on Saturn's moon titan? And recorded the actual video of the landing!

Critics are so fun not because they reinterpret the bounds of intentional ignorance but because, if you’re lucky, they offer an otherwise unavailable opportunity to self-reflect. I will drone on and on below:
1/ On Squiggle #6529
I would like to explain why we are excited about “buying a Squiggle”
While Squiggles are, in fact, sweet, the exciting part is that every part of this process happened in a decentralized manner.
2/ @aRegularDad proposed a Meme Card to fund a Squiggle acquisition.
81 profiles participated in the Main Stage vote and voted with TDH to mint this as a Meme Card
The card won. 77 paid editions were minted, providing 2.51 ETH for the acquisition.
3/ @cheesebiz and @bankons helped scout and connected @squiggleDAO . SquiggleDAO suggested trying to acquire Squiggle 6529
The price was 3.01 ETH, so @MadaCollects who had been following the discussion, chipped in another 0.5 ETH to the pool (respect!)
4/ The seller wanted to stay anonymous, preserve the provenance (no intermediary transfers) and keep their vault secure.
Ultimately, the seller trusted SquiggleDAO and 6529 network and sent the Squiggle directly to the 6529 Network Museum before receiving payment.
5/ Reminder: What is the 6529 network museum? It is a SAFE vault organized by TDH, owned by the network, a cultural asset, NFTs go in, but ~they do not go out.
It is the network-native concept of a national public museum
6/ Finally, one more step to replace the temporary art on the card with something appropriate for the long-term. Well, another TDH vote of course.
@ricardotakamura won with THE VAULT, a long-exposure light painting made at Casa NUA in Brazil.
7/ So to recap:
- Decentralized network mints a meme card to buy a squiggle
- Decentralized network picks which squiggle to buy
- Decentralized network updates the art
- Decentralized network permanent home for the squiggle
8/ What was my contribution to any step of this project?
Nothing at all. I was not involved at all in any way.
I had a vague awareness that it was happening, but was not following any of the details, let alone helping.
9/ Now, some of you are thinking “ok, fine, that is cute, the NFT nerds are collecting NFTs again”
Maybe.
Or maybe collecting NFTs is a generalizable proof of concept, and there is no actual limit to this primitive.
We will see soon enough.
10/ Thank you to all who organized, the voters and everyone who minted.
Great job by all.

Buying SPCX periodically with spare cash going forward instead of more BTC
It's just infinitely cooler than Bitcoin and I'm already over allocated to crypto

6529 is not perfect
it's a WIP
but it's the best attempt in the space yet
it has survived while many projects have failed
the surface hasn't been scratched yet
the community is growing in quality
and yes there are challenges everywhere including 6529
but let me ask , who else has been minting thrice a week in the last 4 years ?
I guess any talk about 6529 is good
even ossen's challenging remarks,
that's why they make them,
so people talk more about ossen.
one day you' ll understand it 🙌💙
