For all their success at QAFL level, Mt Gravatt has struggled during the years that Palm Beach has been in the same comp. This is reflected in their combined history.

Noosa & Redland had some great contests in the BAFL during the late 90s, in particular, a drawn Grand Final at Yeronga in 1999. The Sharks were promoted the next year. At QAFL level:

Anyone notice that we had a 22-point margin last week (Morningside V Broadbeach)?
It was the 144th time a QAFL game has been decided by 22 points, the most frequent margin across all games.
How many times did these clubs play each other over a 40 year period? I don't know. If you can help with Gold Coast records, please let me know.

In the constant struggle between Progress & Tradition, one can not dominate the other. A balance is required.

Broadbeach was promoted in 1997. Before that year, these two clubs would have 25+ years of history (I assume). But we don't have those results. We would like to.
