Digging deeper into @NetworkChuck and @0dayCTF’s video of “predators at defcon” appears to not only be irresponsible but also a lie. In this video Chuck claims “We actually found predators at Defcon. We chatted with one” while claiming @0dayCTF hacked them. This is bullshit 🧵
Good example of why @NetworkChuck’s ignorant takes and dangerous advice are bad for the cybersecurity community. He posts a video asking people to be vigilantes targeting child predators, then folks reply with extra judicial killing, blaming trans people, and false accusations all proving my point.
