For someone who is such a senior journalist at @nytimes, its a pity that @NickKristof doesn't know that ZERO comes from the Hindus of India. Pingala’s Chandaḥśāstra (also called Chandah Sutra), traditionally dated to roughly the 3rd–2nd century BCE first mentions the concept of ZERO. Even the Arabs acknowledged that when they first started using it. But then again, given NY Times' historical and continuous bias against Hindus and India, Kristof's ignorance is understandable.
I'll give RFK Jr. a 0 for this, using Arabic numerals, or perhaps a "zero," noting that the English word "zero" comes from the Arabic "sifr."

The concept of zero comes from India. Arab scholars learnt it from India and the concept got transmitted to Europe from Arabia. Shunya or Zero in Sanskrit became Sifr in Arabic. When Arab mathematicians adopted the Indian numeral system and the mathematical concept of zero, they translated the Sanskrit term śūnya ("void/empty") into the native Arabic word ṣifr to represent the number zero. “Arabic numerals” are also taken from Hindu numerals.

Ashley St Clair said MAGA influencers are in group chats directly taking orders from Stephen Miller. THIS is where the anti-Indian racism is coming from. Directly from Stephen’s Mouth to your favorite influencer’s keyboard. Plausible deniability at its finest.
Miller hates Indians. He couldn't get H-1B repealed through Congress. So he defaults to filthy racism. MAGA filth jumps on the bandwagon. None of it was organic. It was all sudden. One solace Indians can take is that Racism is a losing strategy.

Don’t EVER tell me that Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar isn’t a hero, or that it was just an ‘altercation’ in the cockpit. The man is a genuine HERO who saved 174 lives from a scumbag Islamic jihadist who wanted to end 174 lives.

This @TheAtlantic piece has all the masala of how to please the ego of the Western leftist elites: authoritarianism, Modi, intimidation, Hindu right, etc. But it lacks everything journalism is about.

The level of hate on X is off the charts. If anyone said this to an African American, a Latino, an East Asian, a Jew, or even a Muslim, there would be hell to pay. But people openly, commonly, and consistently make such comments on X that are directed at Indians and Hindus, and there are no repercussions and no accountability. Why the disparate reactions and repercussions? Why has this been normalized on X?
Deport this sorry POS. Go celebrate Indian Heritage in India.

I’m sure you’re aware that in American politics candidates are bankrolled by billionaires. Heard of Citizens United ruling where it’s legal for corporations to spend unlimited money to fund election campaigns of politicians in exchange for business favors. Isn’t that crony capitalism? Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw rocks at other people’s houses. @sabeer
IMHO, the real Desh Drohis are the crony capitalists who have allegedly exploited India’s natural resources, amassed enormous wealth, and enriched themselves at the expense of 1.5 billion Indians. When will you return that wealth to the people it rightfully belongs to?

Why does the poster say that you’re the producer of the documentary when you’re claiming that you’re not the producer and your role was solely to distribute it? @sabeer xitter.gq/avatans/status/2115567…
Let me be absolutely clear: I neither produced nor directed the documentary. My role was solely to distribute it. There is a fundamental difference between creating content and exercising the right to share it.

It's humorous to watch @JackPosobiec repeatedly get his ass handed to him by @vasantbhatt14, a young man and college student of Indian heritage with a small account on X. Watching Jack obsessively punching down, which is never a good look, and doing it time and again, while Vasant dodges Jack and claps back like Neo from The Matrix. Keep up the good work, gentlemen, especially Vasant. Four-star stuff, really! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🍿
This isn’t a First Amendment issue. The man was arrested and charged with assault. The problem with you is that you’re so pathetically eager to excuse racism. It’s becoming painfully obvious what you stand for. Your defense of Bo French was telling enough.

BIG FROM FRANCE: RIOTERS/COCKROACHES WILL BE FORCED TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSE! 🚨 The French Senate has passed the “Rioters Pay” bill, proposing financial liability for destruction during public demonstrations. 🔹 Up to €10,000 in damages under specified conditions. 🔹 Liability may extend to those who knowingly join groups formed to vandalise or remain after two police dispersal warnings. 🔹 Social media platforms could face blocking or delisting for failing to remove specified content inciting violence within 24 hours of an official request. 🔹 Certain social benefits could be seized to recover unpaid damages. The bill still needs further legislative approval before becoming law.

Huh? Didn't Marco Rubio just call India a friend and ally?
India is the most dangerous immediate foreign threat to the United States.

Predictable outcome. US makes skilled immigration harder, so companies move jobs offshore Americans lose GDP growth, tax revenue, population growth, jobs created by immigrant founders and overall dynamism Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
🚨 WHILE WASHINGTON CRACKS DOWN ON H-1B VISAS, TWO MORE AMERICAN FINANCIAL FIRMS ARE EXPANDING OPERATIONS IN INDIA. Blackstone just opened a global operations center in Bengaluru, supporting technology, finance, HR and other functions. AssetMark just opened a Hyderabad center designed for approximately 500 employees, with engineering and technology hiring underway. Both are building company-controlled operations in India. H-1B restrictions can limit foreign-worker hiring inside America. But they don't prevent American companies from building entire technology teams overseas. Are we protecting American jobs, or simply making it easier for companies to move the work abroad? blackstone.com/news/press/bl…

MAKE MATT FORNEY EMPLOYED AGAIN - just so we get the pleasure to see you get fired from the job for racist social media commentary. It’s the Chakra of Karma for you.
You could create an entire new "Dumb Ways to Die" series based solely on things Indians do.
