With some help from our turf tank the endzones on Honaker field got a new look. I just spent a couple hours painting it in, ha ha. But it did also paint all the lines on the field so I’ll take that trade.

Man I hope this trend continues. Replace plastic with a person, save money and have a superior surface! Grass>synthetic in most situations.

And so it begins… project season is in full swing. Out with the turf and in with the grass. Practice football fields are going to all grass. This means a full tear-out of our current turf field and complete redo of our current grass field to make two full size grass fields. #GBR

Aside from the strong cost-savings argument to be made in favor of natural grass, there are some serious health, safety, and environmental benefits of a natural turf field. Read about the benefits of natural turf: buff.ly/3sJszEJ.

Hendon Hooker had 27 TD and 2 INT, and led the country in QBR (ahead of all four of these guys). He had a historic season against a brutal schedule and he missed ONE game. One! And it costs him a trip to New York. What a joke.

Replying to @HeismanTrophy
"Outstanding performance which best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work." Somehow that doesn't describe Hendon Hooker but does this clown?

Huge thanks to ⁦@CHelt29⁩ and ⁦@WhartonTJ⁩. Gotta love it when the baseball coaches take care of edging the field. We’ve been busy lately and it kept getting put off. But this allows us to take care of one more aerification.

Spring sure is a pretty time around campus. Last fall we planted hundreds of bulbs in different areas. Here the tulips are looking good.
