Today West Toronto Railpath users will experience a closure between Bloor St W and Dundas W. Metrolinx ran into a small and unforeseen issue while relocating a pole as part of the phase two closure area. Metrolinx anticipate this section of the WTRP to be open BEOD.

This reminds us of the "nature" pods in Silent Running.

People have been complaining since the late 1970's.

It will Jason but it will take a while for new plantings to take hold. The sooner the 4th track is done, the sooner Railpath part 2 begins.

How did you get around the Fire Department claiming their trucks cant get around the corner? (Like they do every time somebody tries to calm a downtown street.)

The West Toronto Railpath is already a neighbourhood treasure. Pretty soon it’ll also connect cyclists directly to the downtown core. @rebeccaga0 breaks down the coming extension, set to begin construction later this year. torontoverse.com/articles/o1…

📢 Safety is critical to everything we do. We're running an emergency exercise on the new Davenport Diamond Guideway today. Emergency services and a large group of Metrolinx staff will be present. This is not a real emergency—do not call 9-1-1 to inquire. (📷: @ProjectEND)
