lastly, i really hope that when ao3 does come back up, people will show out for their favorite fics and favorite authors and leave lots of comments. it's obvious that fanfiction is a bedrock of fandom; everyone imploded when they felt it was gone. so maybe we try to show how much it means to us when it's actually around, not just when it's gone lol

Understand while ao3 is down, writers are getting 0 recognition during this time. No happy emails about kudos or comments, no checking to see if anyone glanced at their fic that day etc I've seen my fics in people's drives already, I'm okay with it atm but if you do read my or someone else's work through the dealings going on Please PLEASE go show that writer love. Let them know you appreciated it etc and when ao3 comes back leave a kudos or comment or both
