The great thing about this app, is it has a first class MCP interface and I can use ChatGPT to generate objects, 2d layouts, various edits, and more.
For this clock, I told ChatGPT to adjust the tick marks to go all that way to the edge like the inspo. Now it looks much better!
And the app keeps a living notes doc of major design decisions, preferences, and constraints that can easily be viewed and edited. So regressions should be less likely long term and personal styles can easily be inferred.
Just about functional enough that I can work on the actual UI.
Here's a split 2D / 3D view and 3D print preview of a test from today.
Making some progress on a native Mac hybrid 2d/3d design tool I've been building.
So far it has
- parametric CAD
- 2D design environment including type, vectors, layers
- linked 2D artboards to 3D surfaces
- automated asset rendering
- 3d printer slicing / printer control
- controllable via MCP
The new @jugendingenieur amp looks awesome and reasonably priced!
They have a guitar kit as well as a karaoke combo!

Here's a little more of the watch/gauge editor. It's fully 3D, there's a huge set of parametric model options, and the instruments function / playback movements in the canvas.
It's fun blending the design environment, rendering canvas, and agentic workflows into one complete tool.
