In 1970, Meir Kahane stood at UCLA and laid out what was coming. 56 years ago he predicted exactly what is happening right now. He said the extreme left and the extreme right would both turn on Jews, but they would hide it behind the word โ€œZionist.โ€ He said the left would treat Israel as the enemy of the day and use that as cover for attacking Jews. He said the right would do the same under different slogans, blaming Jews for everything wrong in their own lives. He talked about the protests, the campus hatred, the way people would pretend they only had a problem with โ€œZionismโ€ while going after Jews. Fifty-six years later, almost every word of it is here. The same campuses. The same slogans. This Washington Post columnist has blocked me, you know, because her thing is debating ideas, but only with like-minded folks who agree with her preconceived ideas. Below, sheโ€™s cheering for Ben Rhodes, a speech writer who proclaimed himself a foreign policy expert. The best part is that, in his attempt to delegitimize Isrsel, Ben justifies Israel: The lesson from October 7 is that whoever did it cannot be trusted with anything anymore, meaning, Palestinians have proven that they cannot be trusted with any kind of self government and that Israel needs to change facts on the ground lest it goes back to the same Hamas rule that produced the Oct 7 massacre. Because these Global Intifada activists block anyone they disagree with and debate within an echo chamber, their intellect becomes weak and riddled with fallacies and blind spots.
