where the 292 credits went:
★ wan 3.0 clips (21 shots): 196.5
★ keyframes: 42
★ character + location refs: 18
★ topaz upscale: 22 (barely helped)
★ voiceover: 8.1
the voice was the cheapest part
and made the biggest difference
then the same story through higgsfield
wan 3.0 for video
nano banana pro for keyframes
elevenlabs for the voice
this took 29 min and 292.6 credits
⬅️ left is higgsfield, ➡️ right is opus coding every frame
which would you post?
those ai video pages on instagram get millions of views
i wanted to know what one costs to make without higgsfield
so i ran 60 tests 🧵
same prompt: an afandi parable as a ps1-style cutscene, built in code
time and api-price cost:
opus 5.5 high: 69 min · $16.22
astra 6 xhigh: 28 min · $10.76
sonnet 5.5 high: 61 min · $5.82
sol 6.1 xhigh: 21 min · $1.22
(i'm on subs for both, so this is what it would cost on the api)
