Ahh yes, blame the LLMs. Ignore the CTO integrating a shady RNG library on an alt acct. in 2021 that he interacted with on his main acct. as if they were different people. Ignore the bitcoin dev that warned ColdCard about the exact RNG flaw in 2025, and ColdCard dismissed it.
Sociopath continuing to minimize with zero self awareness.

When (not if) @nvk tries to resurface as if nothing happened, remember that this guy called FUD when honest stackers sounded the alarm because their wallets got drained. And of course the myriad of other wrongdoings. Don't just accept what happened. It's not acceptable.

Coldcard was NOT an LLM enabled attack, people created seeds with weak entropy and had their weak seeds brute forced. Brute forcing is older attack than bitcoin itself. Don't allow yourself to be gaslit by this narcissist.

Not the OSI. Not the FSF. Not even Commons Clause itself calls Commons Clause "open source." This was never about reading code. It's about wearing a label you didn't earn. Full stop. Call your license what it is. There is honor in truth. There is none in pretending.

‼️ Pocket Bitcoin (Swiss exchange) leaked identity documents, source of funds records, postal addresses, IBAN numbers, and bitcoin address of customers. KYC is the biggest threat to your safety.
⚠️ Update on the security incident at Pocket Bitcoin Our investigation is complete. It showed that in some cases more data was affected than described in our first post. We have identified two affected groups.

The work that @91xTx93x3 did was crucial. He built up a federation, had the vision and did the hard work of encouraging folk to rally around during a tough period.
Happy day, lads! From now on, dojobay.pw points to dojobay.org, including the onion site. Less bulky, cleaner, and now maintained by people who know what they’re doing. Big thanks to @maxtannahill and @linkinparkrulz_

The federal government sanctions and cracks down on a non-custodial open source project. Domain is now in control of scammers who have phished millions of dollars. You don't hate the state enough. #FreeRoman
User Loses Over 1,000 ETH in Phishing Attack After Using Tornado Cash’s Expired Official Domain According to community users, a user clicked an old link left in a related bookmark and was redirected to a phishing site through the expired official domain tornado. cash, which had been taken over by an attacker, resulting in 1,010 ETH being drained by hackers within 12 hours. Tornado Cash’s original official domain tornado. cash expired after the team failed to renew it amid OFAC sanctions, after which phishing attackers registered the domain and set up a fake frontend to steal deposit credentials. Tracking by the victim showed that the stolen funds are currently held mainly in the hackers’ addresses, while the group has allegedly stolen nearly 4,000 ETH through similar methods over the past 12 months.

🚨 PLEASE READ AND SHARE 🚨 I have been made aware that the scammers are beginning to fork the code of Ashigaru Desktop and are publishing "releases" on Obtainium. My github is github.com/linkinparkrulz. That is the the only place you can get releases at the moment. I have remedies that I am considering for the future, but for now please stay vigilant. You should stick to releases that are followed by blog posts coming from this account. I will not include the malicious link, but here is a screenshot of the suspect fork. The project has had its name changed and they have published releases. On the latest release, they have stripped out the release signing actions I use for Ashigaru Desktop. Please be careful, and feel free to message me OR email. If you are unsure about something.

“most…is open source” except for the parts that actually matter
Replying to @NEEDcreations
Hi @NEEDcreations, most of Ledger’s code is open source: Ledger Wallet, the crypto libraries, and the apps that run on the device. You can inspect them. You can audit them. The low-level part of the operating system is not. Not because we enjoy secrecy. Because it talks to the internals of the Secure Element, and that interface sits under NDA with the chip vendor. We cannot publish it. Learn more: support.ledger.com/article/1…

Airgapped is better.
🚨 URGENT: Update your BitBox firmware NOW! 3 vulnerabilities have been found: 1) A flaw could let an attacker trick you into installing fake BitBox firmware that could steal your crypto 2) A hacked computer could take control of a new BitBox02 Multi and steal your crypto 3) An attacker could lock your Bitcoin and demand a ransom

Russian authorities arrested IT specialist Yuri Belenky over crypto donations to Ukraine. According to The Insider, Binance gave Russia’s Investigative Committee extensive account data, including IDs, transactions, logins and devices. I recommend avoiding Binance.

Fuck @NVK.
Reddit post from 11 years ago claims they were banned from r/bitcoin for questioning Coinkite and nvk was using multiple alt accounts to manipulate r/bitcoin and had a partnership with theymos 👇🏽

Too much hype about Trezor 7. Never forget how their CEO compared Bitcoiners to a cancer tumor. That's how their site welcome users, disgusting.

Introduced 2 months before the Samourai arrests and servers seized... Was added by an anon dev who scrubbed their entire git history... Was just patched this year... 🍯

Last time I check, @FoundationHQ’s Passport can use 1,000 characters for passphrase. 👌🏻
I have sent a message to @Trezor regarding their character limit set to 50 to generate a passphrase. I hope they will amend it and allow more characters in a very near future, like a 127 characters. Ledger is set to a 100 and BitBox to a 127 characters.🔸
