🚨🕵️♂️ Brentford have spent around £16m on their research department over the past two years. 💰📚
This has resulted in the publication of several academic papers on a range of subjects, like training loads, running intensity and positional play.
Results from these studies have been used by manager Thomas Frank.
Brentford hire PhD students every year to do this research, with results fed back to the football department, reports @guardian_sport.
