As you know, SEI is in a rough spot right now. There’s no real NFT marketplace, and wallets are shutting down. What we’re actually trying to do is move dobs to ETH. Our goal isn’t simply to run a mint
We launched this collection 2.5 years ago, and we genuinely believe everything will be much better on ETH
dob holders will be able to free claim NFTs with the same traits as the ones they currently own. As for everyone else, we’ll be happy to welcome them into the dob family
The reason the mint is paid is because of bots. For around $0.60, anyone can join dob and ride with us
We’re completing the final steps of our move to ETH. So far, dob holders on SEI have submitted their wallets — around 400 wallets have been collected
These users will be able to claim their dob NFTs on ETH for free, only paying gas fees (~$0.5). You will also mint the same traits you currently hold
Mint will be on Friday around 7 PM UTC. Approximately 1,000 dobs will be available for free claim
The remaining 4,500 DOBs will be open for public mint. It won’t be free in order to prevent bots, but it will be under $2
The last free claim window for public mint goes live tomorrow. Don’t miss it
We’ve been hearing from many people that they are unable to trade their NFTs. On SEI, wallets and NFT marketplaces seem to have shut down. At this point, we don’t know whether SEI is still interested in NFTs, and we haven’t been able to reach them yet.
If we get the opportunity to speak with someone from the team, we will let them know that we still want to continue building on SEI. Not only as an NFT collection, but we can also build other dApps that SEI may need.
We’re also seeing a lot of comments suggesting that we should move to ETH or other chains. We will make a decision about all of this after speaking with the SEI Foundation.

I genuinely thought people were trolling when they posted the $BTC wick on Revolut.
Checked my old limit orders and somehow one of them actually filled around $5.
Order got partially executed before everything froze.
Tried withdrawing immediately and now support hasn’t answered for 8 hours.
Not sure if this is the luckiest or most stressful day of my life.
Let’s revisit where we were, and why we’re speaking up again now.
Over the past 1.5 years (and even before that), a lot has happened. After the mint, we truly did everything we could. Being an NFT founder is far heavier than it looks—mentally more than anything. You're constantly facing a loud crowd, each person pushing their own expectations, while you’re trying to stay committed to a vision and actually execute a roadmap. That balance is not easy.
As interest in NFTs and Sei started to fade, we found ourselves uncertain about how to reposition, how to adapt, and what direction to take next. So we went quiet.
The reason we’re tweeting again now is simple: we want to take another shot at the hard path. We don’t want to carry the “what if we could’ve made it” question with us. We want to find out.
dob is in our hearts
