Am I the only one that is pissed by the fact that calendars suck and you cannot have a unified place from where you can track all accounts and set notifications you cannot miss?

Crazy how marketing gives a lot of people “the ick” But when you execute on it right it’s the funnest job in the world and people actually appreciate your work.

Announcing Only Whispers! 🎙️ High quality materials, high quality output, fast like a Ferrari 🐎 The only dictation tool that doesn't pretend to be something else, powered by French wind 🐈 and Californian brains 🧠 How it works Hold the Key, speak, let go. Clean, ready-to-send text appears in whatever app you're using. You can forget about your keyboard.

First time participating in an hackathon, I placed in the top 10% (or top 3% 🙃) I created a small self healing and self improving harness to let an agent verify and fix the output of a fictional system across a multitude of noisy data and logs in input The part i performed better was the result and the solution itself, the part I performed worse was the interview in which I explained what I did, mostly due to lack of time and experience doing this I couldn't prepare good answers explaining the tradeoffs of my choices properly Excluding the final interview I could have scored top 3% that is amazing! Anyway I like my positioning that is the number of values that fits in a single byte 💻

Yesterday an ex-colleague with a huge audience talked positively about me on Linkedin, and since then I've received attentions from CEOs, directors and founders I have some things to say about networking and the future of the job market, I've been brainstorming with a colleague (now ex) for months, so in some ways I woke up early, but in others I've realized I'm about 6 years late

I'm creating my own WisprFlow replacement I don't like that WisprFlow is expanding and now it wants to be also a notetaker I see the clutter coming so I thought I'm gonna create my own dictation tool After a single night I have a working POC that uses Voxtral 3 and Luna For now I only have to pay for the ChatGPT sub to make all work, eventually if I have to pay Mistral as well i calculated it would be more or less 7€ per month with my usage, so about 40-50% less than the annual plan of WisprFlow I've forked OpenWispr to start from a solid foundation and now I'm removing every feature except the dictation part

There are some jobs indeed "created" but is not like the industrial revolution, these new jobs usually require one person instead of 10 doing the old job, for instance orchestrating agents to build software is indeed a new job at this point for a good amount unrelated to classic programming But there are no thousands of workers required in factories now because we are industrializing, instead the opposite is happening, AI is removing the humans from the tertiary sector and is not moving them anywhere, we are "de-service-alizing"
Everybody says AI will create jobs we haven’t imagined yet. Name one.

Today i went to START Lisbon 9 startups presented their pitch to the jury to go to SF and compete for a 1M$ prize some already popular names like Athena AI in the AI automation space but the one I voted for and won was BM2Solar because their economy just makes more sense with the current energy situation and the needs of the EU countries

So the trick to use the GPT sub without running out of usage is to consume everything in 2 days using Astra and hope for a Tibo reset right after while synchronize with banked reset expire
Day 17/ Bet you thought we forgot, but no, it’s reset day today. Also good time to remind you to get Daybreak Blue access, it only takes 15 mins and you don’t want to have to do it in the middle of an incident.

Builders beware: Nothing teaches humility faster than spending 8 months building a product and hearing: "Couldn't this just be an Excel sheet?" 😁
