After 3 incredible years at @tinybird, it's time for my next adventure.
I really enjoyed other people's tales of what companies are like from the inside, so here are my reflections on Tinybird: rbarbadillo.github.io/tinybi…

Mistral Large 4 (high) uses 82K output tokens per Intelligence Index task and sits on the open weights Pareto frontier, while open weights models that score higher use 113K or more. Compared to the Preview, Mistral Large 4 (high) uses 39% fewer output tokens per Intelligence Index task

Running in Mistral Vibe, Mistral Large 4 (high) ranks second of the current open weights models on the Artificial Analysis Coding Agent Index (48), between GLM-5.3 (max) in Opencode (49) and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 (max) in DeepSeek Harness (46), while using about half as many total tokens per task (8.5M vs. 15.9M and 16.7M)

ML4 is now quite token efficient, solving one of the major issue from the preview.
If you've tried it before give it another spin, you'll be surprised

He conocido a mucha gente en política.

Next Wednesday, 28 October, we’re bringing a group of founders together for an open conversation about Europe’s role in AI: what we’re building here, what’s holding us back, and what we can do about it.
We’ll have a round table with @danipolymath from @SupersonikAI and Victor García from @NeuralTrustAI, followed by an open conversation where everyone can join in and ask questions. Then food and drinks.
The event will take place at @Itnig, in Barcelona.

Prototyping is cheaper than ever, so I tried to imagine the simplest possible ClickHouse service.
The result is a side project called ClickHamlet. You run:
clickhouse client --host cloud.clickhamlet.com --secure --user <name> --password
And that's it. No sign-up form, real ClickHouse in the cloud.

Should Europe leave frontier AI to the Americans and the Chinese?
The idea has gained ground in Europe. It is a fundamental mistake.
Build or surrender: for now, the choice is still ours.
