I’ve had this conversation out loud too many times, so decided to ✍️
The idea of a big wave this November is making me nervous!
Historically, losing has forced Democrats to wake up, but winning has given us permission to hit snooze -- Republicans do not operate this way.
Democrats' brutal loss in 2024 splashed water on our collective faces, but the work is. not. done. And if the road from 2024 to winning back the White House in 2028 is the full game, 2026 is just halftime 🏈⚽️🏀
Midterm voters skew older than presidential ones, and a lot of who will decide 2028 will sit this one out. A good night in 2 weeks tells us basically nothing about winning the White House in 2 years.

However, left-leaning channels are generally growing faster...
