Sir I respect your opinion & patience. But I don't feel it's disrespectful towards a writer to not finish a book. We're all entitled to our likes & preferences. And sometimes forcing ourselves to do something that doesn't interest us only gives us more averse feelings towards it.

There is a reason I try to finish every book, or movie I start, even if it isn't my cup of tea. Respect. I am reading/watching somebodies dream come to fruition, and I believe you get back what you put out. I may increase the speed at which I do so, but I try to finish. Every artist deserves respect for being brave enough to put their work out for criticism.
