Xabi Alonso isn’t the problem. We couldn’t even make 3 good passes among ourselves. 😭

Barcelona needs to improve a lot defensively. We can't go further with this current defense. Hansi Flick trying different options at the back is even more dangerous for the players. Have a fixed defensive structure at the back just like you did when Inigo Martinez was in the team. That's how you build a solid defensive structure to win games.

Liverpool own Chelsea in cup competitions. Whenever these two reach a penalty shootout, Chelsea fans might as well look away.
Chelsea keep losing to Liverpool in cup competitions, yet their football is still awful despite playing once a week. They have no fixture congestion excuse, unlike Michael Carrick’s Manchester United. That makes it even worse.

Pedri and Frenkie's connection is good to be honest, but the midfield still lacks defensive structure because both players are not proper defensive players and it will surely expose us more, even with our high-line play. You can only expect a better performance from both players when we play against teams that are less threatening in attack.
And that's why the Pedri and Rodri connection makes more sense. It gives Pedri more freedom to move into the final third while Rodri covers. But our defense is really getting exposed a lot right now.
We need that Pedri - Frankie midfield pivot back ASAP
I'm not having it Rodrigo Hernandez, man's tall & slow for absolutely no reason.
Unless it's a 4-3-3 Flat midfield of Pedri - Frankie - Rodri.
other than that he can ride the bench
At some point last season, Pedri - Frankie duo seemed like a sorcery after that game at Saint-James Park🏟️ against Newcastle United
Frankie's injury was the 1st step to our early UCL knock-out last szn-
And if you didn't know that then u've been watching the back of television
All that disrespect to Frankie only to find out Rodri ain't all that -
We Deadass won big UCL games & El Clasico's with Marc Casado for fuck sake & Spanish Super Cup with Frankie-
Rodri this - Rodri that,
till it's a big game then he's no better than prime Manuel Ugarte
Flick Ball is only beautiful against washed mid-table clubs & shit
On big nights, Flick Ball is the most eye souring show to watch with lots of errors & missed Chances
According to World Health Organisation-
Flick Ball is the leading cause of High Blood Pressure in europe btw

Watching Manchester City vs Brighton in the Carabao Cup, and football without VAR is going to be hilarious. Some goals look potentially offside, but without VAR, nobody can properly check them.
We’ve become so used to VAR that going back to football without it will bring a whole new level of controversy.

Messi 🐐 won 8 Ballons. France Football made a paid vote called BOAT so Ronaldo fans can pretend they won something. The real trophies are still with Messi.
They charged money so people could vote for Ronaldo’s old season over Messi’s best years. It does not change the 8 Ballons Messi has.
How many more fake awards will they make?🔵🔴

Tarik Muharemovic has no release clause, just signed for Leeds United this season for €40m(till 2031),Ruud Nijstad is valued for €15m.
If Barça was to sign the two players, at max it'll cost €70m. The same amount projected to sign a player of Nico Schlotterbeck or Jarrad Branthwaite calibre.
Yeah Jarrad Branthwaite isn't all that...
but he just signed a 5 years contract with Everton and has a release of over £70m.
It's either:
🔸Ruud Nijstad x Tarik Muharemovic
🔸Nico Schlotterbeck
🔸 Jarrad Branthwaite

Unai Emery is a world-class Spanish manager, and I still wonder why things never worked out at Arsenal.
People used to claim he wasn’t cut out for big clubs because of his struggles at PSG and Arsenal, yet he won multiple Europa League titles with Sevilla and Villarreal.
His tactical ability and man-management are exceptional. Sometimes, the fit just isn’t right, because everything about Emery screams elite manager to me.

⚖️ Iraola’s Liverpool haven’t even lifted off yet, and some are already talking about a title challenge.
Can they really push Arsenal, or is the hype running ahead of the evidence?
Before that case reaches a verdict, Chelsea arrive at Anfield tonight in the Carabao Cup. More evidence incoming. 👀
The fan submissions are already split:
Exhibit A — The sceptical Red:
“As a Liverpool fan, the answer is no.”
Exhibit B — The depth defence:
One fan points to Nyoni, Rio, Koumas and McConnell stepping up, crediting Iraola’s approach compared with Slot’s. Possible January returns for Leoni, Bradley and Ekitike strengthen their case for a decent season.
Exhibit C — The Arsenal test:
“If Liverpool beat Arsenal on Sunday then it won’t be such a silly question.” Judgment reserved.
Exhibit D — The conditions:
Two or three big January signings and the current players staying fit.
Exhibit E — The cautious optimist:
Isak and Wirtz are showing the impact this fan hoped for, but the squad still needs time.
Some Reds are preaching patience. A rival fan is already checking the rear view mirror.
Tonight, Chelsea get their chance to cross examine the revival.
Will Liverpool strengthen their case or leave the title talk looking premature?

Anfield has found its new maestro and nobody saw this coming!
While everyone was stressing over the summer transfer window, Andoni Iraola was cooking a masterclass.
Trey Nyoni isn't just the future he is the present. Stepping into the exact holding midfield role Liverpool desperately needed and looking completely unbothered by the pressure.
From barely getting a look under Slot to running the tempo against Villarreal and saving the day against Brighton. At just 19, the kid is an absolute revelation.
Do Liverpool still need to buy a midfielder in January, or is Nyoni the permanent answer?
