The funniest thing about the Steelers getting Frazier was that absolutely EVERYONE knew they were taking him in Rd 2. If anyone wanted him, the worst kept secret in the draft was that you had to get ahead of at least Pittsburgh to get him.
Nobody did. And the Steelers got the best center in the league.

The best argument for the Steelers to go get someone like Downs who can beat man coverage might be that McCarthy and No. 8 can't help themselves.
The Steelers have a run first football team, but those guys are wired to go gun, spread football, and air it out. Even with Wilson, Skow, and Pitt back, they don't have ideal personnel for a spread offense that can mash man coverage.
Unironically, the style of play the Steelers QB and HC just lean into no matter what might be the best argument to go get that WR lol.
