Big win for former AUSA Maurene Comey this morning. Court rules in favor of her claims that her firing in July 2025 was unlawful and grants her reinstatement with back pay through December 20, 2025. Court also grants her requests for DOJ to acknowledge violations of law and her rights. I know it’s an extremely unpopular take in my corner of politics, but damn the politics of it—this lady never deserved the hate she got. On the contrary, she deserved a lot of credit and heaps of praise for her successful prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as for other successful prosecutions. Congrats Maurene.

The MAGA Grifter Swamp is just as disgusting as any other swamp that runs through D.C.
After MTG left Congress in January, she transferred her leftover campaign funds into a PAC. She has since been using that PAC as a personal piggy bank including flights, hotels, fine dining, and limo rides. She reimburses herself for "political expenses." Thousands every month. She also pays her daughter nearly 6K a month for "consulting." Consulting what? The purpose of a PAC is to raise funds and distribute it to ACTIVE politicians or causes. Not use it as a slush fund to travel the country for paid speaking events. The sooner you realize these losers are all just a bunch of self-serving grifters who only care about their own pockets, the better. Receipts. ⬇️

The 2026 midterm elections are now 8 days away. Your voice and your vote matter. Your country, your neighbors, and your kids need you to speak up and cast your ballot. Make a plan to vote. Ask your family and friends to do the same.

Seated at that table are three hunters and targets of a Russian influence and interference operation in 2016… And a man who lied about contacts with Russian officials that same year.
You see it, right? 🤭

Just Human Ep 383: Key Disclosure in Ilhan Investigations, Sen. Lucas Catches RICO Case, a CIA Contractor Falls for a Substack Girl, and FBI Officials Lie About Sportsman(?) In this episode, we catch up on news in the Rep. Ilhan investigations (some small news items there and one VERY significant reveal by DOJ), and I introduce three new cases I’ll be tracking: the RICO case against Virginia State Senator Lucas and her family; a leak case involving a CIA contractor who fed classified intelligence to his girlfriend so she could write about it on Substack; and the case of two former senior FBI officials who allegedly made false statements to Congress in testimony about the Hunter Biden investigations and one of his laptops. Note: There's a segment in this episode on the charges against the former FBI officials for lying to Congress about their knowledge and involvement in the Hunter Biden investigations that, upon further reading and reflection, I am just not pleased with. The whole time I’m reading the affidavit, I’m like, "This isn’t about what it presents itself to be about.” Like I was reading it with one part of my brain and talking about it, but at the same time another part of my brain was seeing something completely different. I had two or three competing trains of thought happening during that segment, and now that I have had a night's sleep and gone back over the affidavit again... I want to go back and redo the entire thing. LOL! So anyway, I'll be going over that affidavit again in a future podcast episode or video and presenting a different take on it. Yeah, those idiots! It’s not like Abu-Sayed’s mom worked for a Muslim charity for ~five years, a charity that the Treasury Dept designated as a source of money for Islamic terrorists groups. And it’s not like the charity was raided by the FBI in 2004 and his mom was interviewed by agents for hours. And of course it’s not like his mom appears in the court filings related to the investigation into that charity. And she totally didn’t have anything to do with making transfers to terror groups in the Middle East. Oh.
In a video obtained exclusively by The Midwesterner, Abdul El-Sayed staffer TJ Wolfgram, the campaign's conservative and independent outreach captain, defended the Muslim Brotherhood and claimed concerns about ties are "because Americans are idiots":

CIA Contractor with TS/SCI Clearance Leaks Classified Intel to Journalist Girlfriend Ian Brinksman was arrested last Friday on a complaint charging him with leaking National Defense Information to a journalist. The story of how this crime went down appears classic: boy has intel job, boy meets girl, girl wants intel, and you can guess what boy does next. Going off the affidavit, a future indictment could charge him with at least five counts of violating 18 U.S.C. § 793(d), though investigators may discover more instances of Brinksman sharing information with his love interest or others. The girlfriend appears to be Aida Chavez, who has connections to several leftist outlets known for acquiring illicit information, as well as to leftist activists. Whether she will be charged remains to be seen. youtu.be/gyU1WJKl6t8

Bondi fired her, and DOJ argued that Blanche essentially ratified that firing later. She wasn't fired for cause, though. And that's big problem. You say she "botched cases," but that is not what anyone within DOJ who reviewed her work ever said about her. They said the opposite, and her record affirms their review. Her case against Epstein was so good he killed himself rather than face trial. She successfully prosecuted Maxwell and, something few people even appreciate, worked extremely hard to keep the low-credibility victims away from that case and convinced the high-credibility ones to testify against Maxwell. Maurene saved that case during the trial when one of the most important witnesses began falling apart on the stand. Maxwell has decades left to serve on her sentence. She successfully prosecuted Sen Menendez, a powerful senator who had already survived a previous prosecution, his wife Nadine, and his co-conspirators. They are all in prison right now. She successfully prosecuted Diddy, though she didn't get a conviction on all of the charges. The jury simply didn't buy that those girls didn't know what they were getting into when they hooked up with Diddy. Maybe Maurene overcharged or shouldn't have made it a RICO case. Oh well, Diddy is still in prison. So maybe people telling you she "botched" cases don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

👀Brian Cole Jr. in His Own Words There’s more to a person than what those who seek to "win in the court of public opinion" choose to show you. Take a peek inside his mind on your own. Below are links to accounts attributed to Cole: fictional stories, blog posts, comments, and interactions with other users. From what I can gather he was around 16/17 years old at the time of these writings. They offer a fuller view of the author’s interests, imagination, and how he engaged with others. Be sure to check out my personal favorite: "Away From the War; Away From Machines" - an action packed fictional story featuring: 🧨 A 💣 transported in a backpack. 🏦 An expl*sive positioned near a building. ⏲️ A timed expl*sive counting down as the character tries to escape. 💥 An expl*sion that brings down Town Hall. You may be surprised by what you find. Enjoy! 🔗Links attached in 2nd post.
